It arrived well packed in a single cardbosrd box with the components packed in 5 seperate boxes inside.Assembly is fairly straightforward. There was an enclosed instruction sheet. These units are made in Taiwan, so the instruction so we're not written in perfect English but were more than good enough.Quality of the units is quite good. The rototoms themselves have cast spokes that look to be black powder coated, chromed hoops and lug nuts, together with clear, no name batter heads. The main screw shafts are substantially made. And these all fit onto an aluminium channelled rack rod.The main stand is chromed and double braced. It is fairly substantial but is probably the weakest link. It has a two section extension and the usual type of angle adjustment at the top.Study the mounting clamp for the rack rod to the stand carefully. There is a picture in the printed instruction sheet but it's not as clear as it could be. Once you understand how it assembles, it is easy.I put it together in around 45 minutes. It tunes fairly easily though I have never used rototoms before so spent some time learning about them. I plan to take the units apart and apply some copper grease to parts of the threaded bolts and lug nuts just to make tuning a little smoother.I will probably replace the batter heads too but will research some more first. The supplied heads are ok for now.I have more substantial double braced cymbal stand hardware so may see if I can use them. But for now, what was supplied works.These are substantially cheaper than say branded Remo units which is what attracted me. There are much cheaper units but looking at them I felt that the quality was too poor. These seem a good compromise.

Ich haben die Rototom für das Intro von Time gekauft.Die Verarbeitung der Hardware ist einwandfrei.Mit den mitgelieferten Fellen klingen die Rototoms perfekt.Ich dachte, ich könnte mit Remo CS Clear Fellen den Sound noch verbessern.Das war nicht der Fall und hätte mir das Geld für die Felle sparen können.Der Sound mit den Original Fellen gefällt mir besser.Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Kann die Rototoms auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würde diese wieder kaufen!
