I bought these because they were unfinished with the thought that I would just be able to stain them myself to match the color of wood in our room. These are not unfinished as described. If you are buying with the intent to stain them, do not buy. There is a glaze or finish on them that doesn’t take the stain. It literally wiped right off and didn’t absorb into the wood.

I'm impressed with the quality of these frames. They arrived extremely well packaged without a single scratch or imperfection. Unlike other frames I've gotten on Amazon, theses are 100% solid wood and very durable. The corners are perfectly mitered and the curved bevel is flawless. The natural wood finish gives these a simple, classic look. Instead of glass, they use a high quality transparent acrylic glass. I love that I don't have to worry about glass breaking, if they accidentally fall over. I love the versatility of these. If you use the white mat that comes in it, you can put in a 4x6 or 5x7 picture. If you want to put in a 6x8 picture just take the mat out. You can hang it on the wall or sit it on a table either vertically or horizontally. One thing to note. Some reviewers said that these are raw and unfinished, so you can paint or stain them. That is untrue. These come unstained and have a semi-gloss finish on them. You can not paint or stain these, unless you sand off the finish. I'm super happy with how sturdy and well made these frames are and I'd definitely purchase them again.

I love love love these frames! Great value for money, they look really elegant and organic and it goes so well with anything. They sent the hooks to hang them and additional framing mats. Highly recommend.

Frames look great! Wood is raw/untreated, which looks quite natural but also gives me the flexibility to stain or paint them if I want to. The frames’ “glass” is actually plastic, but it looks just like glass without the risk of breaking. The double matting is great. Lots of value for the price.

Love these frames! Bought to put art prints in. I love that it’s plexiglass! I didn’t have to clean the ‘glass’, just peel protective layer off and put prints in. Also, very easy maneuvers to lock layers in. Would purchase again!

One of the plexiglass inserts only had the protective film on one side so there were some scuffs and scratches on the one. The other three were in pristine condition. Once I added the photo you can’t see them unless you look for them. The frames are sturdy and the added mats give them a professional feel. There are both 5x7 and 8x10 mats which give you options. All in all I was very pleased with the purchase would’ve been perfect if the one glass wasn’t slightly damaged.

This item is super light and not gif table. I would say it’s just okay. Usually the phone frame comes with a piece of transparent paper used to putting on top of the photo. This item doesn’t come with that transparent paper. This could make the photo oxidase faster. Not recommend this product if you look for a high quality photo frame.

I can't wait to use these for our grandfather's Christmas gift. Going to put 1 of each of his kids family portraits in it and add some family quotes in vinyl. Love the natural wood look and think it'll be perfect contrast to the vinyl color I've picked out.
