I recently purchased the Funmit 42001-0053S Heater Thermistor as a replacement part for our Pentair Sta-Rite MasterTemp pool heater, and it has proven to be an excellent choice. I'm no pool pro, but I learned from You Tube that this was causing my pool heater to not work. The instructions were good, and it was easy to install.

This is the kind of product that either works or it does not. In my case, it worked perfectly.

With the old part Removed and replaced the part and setting the temp to 85deg the spa would go to 110deg, not good! After the remove and replace, the new part setting the temp to 102deg, the actual temp was within 2deg. Tips, there are two similar looking parts one is the over temperature and one is the actual setting temperature. you are replacing the part on the pipe marked ‘line in or return’. You can use a 7/8 open end wrench with a a screwdriver in the closed end to remove and install the parts if space is tight…or if you are lazy like me and don’t want to take everything apart.

Took about 15 minutes to install and now my pool heater works and we can enjoy the jacuzzi again. Great product.
