Used this for a transmission flush and it worked flawlessly. The side spout makes pouring old fluid out clean and simple. It’s sturdy, well-shaped, and doesn’t tip easily. Much better than using a standard oil pan. Definitely built with transmission jobs in mind.

40+ years in the repair world and recently retired, bought a Vehicle lift and some goodies for my home shop. I enjoy doing my own repairs and with a lift needed a larger drain pan for doing Transmission service. Works great, added my version of a splash pad and knocked out a few services. Found I’m leaving it on my Drain bucket even for simple Oil changes, however unlike ones I’ve used in shops it little features like small dimples to help drain off filters. I know that’s a bit picky, but when you’re use to them it’s hard to adapt.So 4 stars it is, good size, nice thick plastic and price not bad for the backyard mechanics 👍
