Great for beginning readers
My kindergarten son absolutely loves these books. They are challenging enough where he has to use his decoding skills and context clues to figure out some words but are spot on for his reading skills and level. I would encourage any parent looking for books to practice for your beginner reader to get these! Plus they come with a large variety of books to chose from which makes it novel and my child never gets bored!

Amazing books
I found a set of these at my local library and my kindergartener just dove right in. So we found this set to continue her sudden love of reading attempts. She’s felt for a long time like she wasn’t ready for first grade because she’s learning all of these sight words but didn’t think it was translating to being able to read. And these little readers were the perfect on-level challenge. She came through so much more confident after these books.

Great reading practice for kids reading at beginning of 1st grade level/end of kindergarten
These nonfiction readers have a main sight word for each book. I bought them to use with my 1st grade class. The pictures and topics are overall interesting and engaging. After buying this set, I ended up getting other ones at the different levels (so far I have found levels A-D books). You get 25 small books in each set, a plus, since some sets come with less or have repeat titles. The book bindings are stitched, but I knew that going in, so it wasn't a detractor.

Great teaching tool for children to learn Sight Words
I like the repeated presentation of a specific sight word in each book. The presentation of the sight word is very informative on a specific reading level.

Fun Engaging Books for New Readers
Good readers for my Kindergarten twins (one has been on Level D for a while and one just passed to Level D). The stories are fun and keep the kids engaged. The sight word being featured is BOLD on every page to help them recognize it. These books have helped my kids tremendously learn to read. They read these. or similar ones in school, so it is good to keep the reading material consistent at home.

Just what I was looking for.
With the library’s closed during the pandemic these set of books have been great for my 1st grader who is working on reading skills and keep him engaged. We have bought several sets for Scholastic on Amazon.
