Perfect flavor, perfect crispness - so good, I want to eat it straight from the jar. Both the original and extra hot are amazing! I stock both so that I can have each option depending on my mood. I primarily use this to stir into high-protein cottage cheese that I consume daily as part of my athletic diet. It turns the mundane act of eating cottage cheese into something I crave every day now. Just fantastic. Can't remember how I found this product, but, once I had it - I was hooked. Love it so much I just had to drop a positive review and give props where props are due. Just the right amount of heat - which is, honestly, quite mild. The heat serves to kick flavor into gear. The garlic and scallions somehow remain overall quite crispy and the chili flakes are not overwhelming in their heat or presence. The first couple of jars I had I didn't realize that the oil itself was really part of the useful product - I thought it was simply a vehicle to deliver the solid ingredients, and then I tossed the jar after using all of the solid ingredients. Then, I dropped a few drops of oil into a bowl and my eyes opened to an entire new world of possibility! Oil for soups, rice, drizzled on pizza.... anything! I wax poetic, indeed, however.... this crispy oil merits such. Keep in mind tho that this stuff pungent - and - if I didn't own my business, I would likely be banned from eating it in my private office - which, I do daily lol. I've gifted the stuff and I keep it at home and at work. Just great on everything. Fantastic on pizza and I love w boiled egg and avocado for breakfast. I have since tried a couple of other brands, however, they all seem much more better suited for asian cuisine and none have been a product I'd consider using often or on as many things That I eat - I'm guessing that this hot crispy oil is unique among others in that regard. Others seem to be heavy on umami, which, this oil lacks.... making it more suitable for many more foods. It isn't cheap, and that's why I tried all the others, but, none compare. This crispy oil is quite unique and is something I feel certain you'd love if you've found yourself even considering such a product. Great stuff!

Item is good, tasty, I would like more chilli oil than all the onions and garlic inside. It's flavorful. I just would like more oil to last longer

This hot crispy oil gives some texture with the crispy part, but has a great heat that does not overpower. It is not like adding habaneros to a dish where they take it over the top. It’s a good flavor for heat spice.. It goes great on just about anything if you want to have it with a little bit more pop.

As far as chili crisp products go, this one is certainly okay, but needs some work. On the pro side: - Very nice, if mild, overall flavor. I personally really like the cumin, although I note in some reviews from others that not everyone seems to. Nice basic chili flavor, a bit of sweetness. Pleasant. But, I think the flavor could be way better and stronger. (See below.) - Big slices of garlic and shallot. That's an interesting textural twist as compared to a lot of other brands. The big chunks add additional crisp, which is great, and some of them are slightly less crispy and instead slightly chewy, which I found to be mostly a plus. (Too much chewy is bad; in this case I found mostly there was just enough, but sometimes it hit the edge.) - Decent value. Some of the other brands are very overpriced. Negatives, for which I'm removing a couple of stars: - Needs more heat. Like, a lot more heat. This isn't even slightly tingly. - Needs more umami (and probably more salt, too). Some of the other brands I've tried deliver a lot more depth of flavor. This product is mildly tasty, but it could be really good if only it had a touch more oomph. Bring on the glutamates! - Way too oily. As compared to competing brands, this product's oil ratio is quite high. It feels more like "oil with stuff in it" than it does like "stuff in oil." More solids, less oil, please. (For reference, I ate all of the solids, slightly drained, over the course of four meals. I still have 2/3 of a jar of oil, which I'll probably just throw out.) All in all I'm only barely satisfied with my purchase. This product has left me wanting quite a bit more than it's able to offer. I'll almost certainly not go for this one again.

If you love texture and spice, you’ll LOVE this. It’s for Italian food, it’s not Asian chili crisp. I love Asian chili crisp too, but this is different. Amazing as a topper to pasta dishes and pizza. Also, delicious on garlic bread, but after it’s already toasted as a dip or topper.

Bought two of these for Christmas presents and they were big hits with both recipient's. Would recommend
