I own numerous pairs of black leggings, but these No Nonsense leggings have quickly become my new favorite, so much so that I ordered a second pair. No Nonsense Women's Great Shapes Cotton Shaping Legging, Black, Large These are very flattering and extremely comfortable.They were featured on Amazon's Fashion Video segment one day, and looked great, so I decided to give them a try.The hidden waist panel, choice of fabric, and cut of the garment work well together and provide a flattering silhouette. I am 5' 7' and 130 pounds, and the large fits perfectly, great support without being too tight. Waist stays-up, doesn't roll, and provides a streamlined look and feel that you do not get with traditional leggings. These do not look or feel like control-top nylons/tights, regardless of the fact that they are made by No Nonsense.⭐️ FAVORITE FEATURES:⭐️✿ NO Big Bulky Waistband::The firming panel on the underside is what keeps the leggings up/on, there is no traditional waistband to speak of. This really gives them a more polished look and feel. No waistband that roll-down with these.✿ Invisible Firming Panel:The firming panel area is unnoticeable from the outside. Outer layer of legging is made entirely of the same cotton-blend fabric as the rest of the legging, it is the underside of the waist only that is lined with the firming panel material. These stay up nicely on their own and don't fall down.✿ Lining is Comfortable: Lining is all one piece, comfortable, and is not constricting at all. It is not overly tight.✿ Firming Panel Coverage Area:Full coverage, from your waist down to the top of you buttocks. The panel is one piece that runs all the way around both the front and back, NOT just in the front. These do not look or feel like maternity-style pants.✿True Black: True and consistent black. Not faded or dull.✿Tapered Leg: Tapered without being tight, even a little loose around the ankle area, which in my opinion makes them a little dressier.✿Wash Well: Wash Well, no shrinkage to speak of. No noticeable fading.🌐 OVERALL:Overall, I couldn't be happier with them. I have two pairs and wear them constantly. At first I was skeptical about if it would really flatter me. I ha e 3 boys and 2 of which are still little. I had them back to back so with that I have a pouch. I got these, I tried them on and they were TIGHT to put on. Once on though they were comfortable and the best part? It flattens my belly. I ordered my normal size and they were great. I reccomend them. I am currently trying to lose the weight, and I feel like even when i lose weight it will still fit. The stretch is great.

My tittle may be a little understated. While the pants are in credible comfortable, look good, fit good, and have a smoothing affect, bending over is a dangerous game if people are behind you. And if you run across an eagle eyes admirer, even without bending they make get a peak.

I’ve been buying these for years now. I am 215lbs 5’4”, I get xl. It holds in my stomach & shapes my thighs. I wish everyone knew about these! They are cotton material, not much stretch but the best tummy compression I’ve found.

These are not the fabric described and don’t have a brand name on them anywhere. I’m very suspicious that these are not from JMS and this listing has been hijacked like so many others on here.They are not soft, they have an awkward stretch that only works in certain areas, and a waist that is loose and has little stretch. Behind the wide waistband is a layer of crinkly mesh fabric that has almost no stretch. It was weirdly loose there so the pants fell down constantly until that section was at my hips but at that point, the crotch and legs were sagging too much. I was pulling them up constantly and then feeling the extra material bulging at the waist. Very miserable experience to wear them for 17 hours of flights, airport, taxis, etc. so I regret using them for the first time on a travel day.The ankles are loose, the thighs very tight, and then the waist too big. They are hot, not very comfortable, thick, and trying a smaller size would likely be too constricting in the thighs for me. The black color wasn’t as dark as I expected. I don’t think they offered any help with shape but even if they did, I would not wear them again. Wish I had sent them back.

These are incredibly supportive and flattering, more breathable than your standard athletic style leggings thanks to being mostly cotton, but still built with structure and a very wide band that has a mesh inset panel. I have a larger lower stomach and a bigger waist and this is the best fitting pair of leggings I’ve ever had. It holds me in there while leaving some breathing room around my waist. These are not see through either! Win win win. For reference, I’m 5’7”, 260 and I generally wear a size 18w/20.

Out of the packaging, these were tight but not uncomfortably so considering they were supposed to be "shaping" leggings. The cotton part doesn't seem to have much spandex and after 2 non-consecutive days wear they were loose and I had to keep pulling them up.The top came up high, as described, and had a thicker material that had some support. I say "had" because that also was loose by the 2nd wear. Right at hip/crotch level, the loose-ness was the worst. Baggy.At the bottom, the opening is oddly wide- this was the 1st time I put them on so they only got looser. In order to them to be snug, I had to pull them up toward my calves, to about 6 inches above my ankle.I don't think I can return them, but they are not what I wanted. Not sure about the longevity either, or how they'll hold up in the wash.I do like the cottony feel, though.If you are maybe a pear shape with a flat tummy, these might fit. Don't expect "shaping" leggings.... these are just cotton leggings with a snug, high waist.

Love the leg length. The color loses its darkness too soon, otherwise they are awesome and comfortable.

Buen material, pero las tallas vienen súper reducidas, no lo pude subir ni arriba de la rodilla y usualmente soy talla XS y compré S.

The material around the stomach area is a bit rough and the leggings are a bit short (I’m 5’8) otherwise they’re okay….just okay.
