The black wall scones was very easy to assemble & wall mount. Beautiful dull black finish. Hard wired but I added puck lights . You can't see the puck light due to the overhang of the shade. It's a very versatile light. It will bring light & beauty into any area.

Aesthetically this looks great. Great price. Average install-no better or worse and as expected. These are replacement fixtures so one needs to work with the old fixture parts. We had a pancake box in the wall for the old and removed for this new fixture so that it would be flat against the wall. I didn’t expect to grapple with what lightbulb to use. Too long a bulb looks odd—sticks out too much. More pictures with different bulbs when buying might be helpful.

I love these lamps so much that I ordered two more to the three that I already have. I have a classic car and these lamps from Lightess look amazing to showcase the car in my garage. They are high quality and have a very strong base plate so there is no sag of the light fixture against the wall. I read some of the feedback from others complaining about the size of the base plate not covering up the light fixture box and I don't understand it because the base plate is about an inch larger than a standard 4 inch electric box. I hope these pics help you if you're thinking about getting new lamps for any room of the house.

the look and quality we were expecting

Stay away from these fixtures. No idea how it is possible that other reviewers can say that they are good quality. I bought 8 of these to go around the outside of my house. After unboxing three of them and each time finding some critical issue, I gave up, called Amazon and arranged for a return of all 8 (we had to ask for an exception to their return deadline because the lights were in storage for several months while we finished our reno). Read the other negative reviews and you will see a trend: 1) the plastic with which the socket is constructed is brittle and the tabs that hold it together easily snap. 2) The threads on the neck are poor and easily strip. In two cases I could just slip the tube onto the threads. Without being able to properly thread the pieces together, the light falls apart. These threads were already rusty, too, suggesting that, were I to successfully install these outside, the whole fixture will biodegrade in short order. 3) The mounting plate/system is ridiculous. In Canada, you are supposed to mount lights to a proper fixture box. These units are designed to screw directly to a wall using wall plugs. The holes and slots provided on the mounting plate don't properly align with the screws on a fixture box. Add to this the fact that the screws that are supposed to go from the mounting plate through the fixture and connect to the little black nuts, are too short. You have to either put spacers behind the mounting plate or find longer screws. The only good thing I can say is that Amazon has excellent customer service and has offered a full refund, including delivery. These products unfortunately represent the worst of the "Made In China" throwaway junk. Still thinking of buying them? You Lose.

Is says suitable for outside but after 1year 1 of the 4 lights completly broke off and the three other ones are all rusted and are about to break at anytime If installed inside im sure they will last but if installed outside do not expect it to last

I purchased this with the matching pendant light. It is great quality and easy to install. It is a matt black finish with metal shade. The perfect piece to give my kitchen an industrial style. I highly recommend this seller. I contacted them with a concern on another product and they responded very quickly and sent out a part to me at no cost. They work hard to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
