Excellent game and perfect for children with special needs!!!
We love this game!!! It is so cute. My daughters are 9, 7 and 3 years old. My three year old(who just turned three) cannot really play it exactly like it is meant to be played but it keeps her entertained doing the activities. My oldest daughter has special needs (williams syndrome) and this is one of the few games she can actually play and enjoy with her nintendo ds. My seven year old (who just turned seven) plays most ds children's games and loves this one and it is one of her favorite even in comparison with Mario and Yoshi's world. I would recommend this game and Amazon had it $10 cheaper than all the other places.

5 year old daughter loves it
I bought this after buying some other games for my daughter that she found frustrating due to the amount of reading involved or difficulty level. This is an easy game, simple for her to use on her own, and she absolutely loves it. Finding good games for a 5 year old girl is challenging, but this one hits the mark. I highly recommend this for anyone trying to find a cute, fun, easy and entertaining game for their young children. I would say this game is perfect for 4-7 year olds.

Great Game
My daughter just got a dsi for her 6th birthday and this is one of the games we bought for her. It is a really cute game. There is minimal reading so that is great for the younger kids. And once you go through it one time, they can really go through it on there own. We wish there were more outfit choices (there are only 3) but other than that is a really fun for fans of build a bear.

Great game!
Bought this for my 6 year old and she loves it and still plays with it now that she is 7. My son even plays it, but he wouldn't want me to tell you that. This game has more play in it than many games that cost 3x as much. A definite buy for the DS.

Love Build-A-Bear
My 8 year old granddaughter has this game and loves to play it, though it isn't very challenging for her. The great part is that her 2 year old sister plays it too! After being shown one time how to dress the toys, cook the foods, and do the playground tricks, the 2 year old can imitate what she was shown and actually see things happen on the screen. I think this game will continue to be played for several years.

Could have been better
I have always loved Build-A-Bear Workshop and I was happy to hear that there was a game for the Ds coming out, so I got it with my first Ds Lite at 11 yrs old. **Building Your Bear** This was one of my favorite parts looking back at the game. You pick from the eight different types of stuffed animals below (you can later name them whatever you like later in the building part):*A brown bear called Dimples Teddy*A cream/pink cat with a pink heart called Sassy Kitty*A tan colored bunny called Mocha Bunny*A cream/brown colored monkey called Marvelous Monkey*A green colored frog called Friendly Frog*A creamy-tan colored bear called Velvet Teddy*A white with brown spots dog called Playful Puppy*A pink poodle called (what else?!) Pink Poodle!**Note you have three slots for one friendThen you go and pick what kind of sound they will make(the sounds they give you are what they have in stores). When you get done you stuff your animal by touching the foot peddle with your pen. Finally you rub the hearts on the screen and make a wish to make in come to life! Then sew it's back, give it a bath, and pick out an outfit out of the three they give you: Tee shirt;jeans;and sneakers. A pink tank that says diva;pink pants;purple shoes.Plain white tee with overalls;plain white sneakers. When you picked out your outfit you name you friend! **Your Home** Your first time you get home you rub you "cub condo" to color it what the game has set it to: yellow with a red door and a blue roof.Next you can feed your friend, dress/shop for it, go to the attic to play mini games,go out side and learn tricks or swing, put it to bed, or dress it and then take a picture of it by choosing a background that you unlock.**Note** You can buy shoes, shirts,pants/dresses/skirts,and accessories with money you get for playing mini games. You unlock them by going and starting the game.Sounds/Music:5/10Game play:8/10Replay Value(one per friend): 7/10Graphics:7/10Overall Grade: BRecommended ages 6-11If you did like this game you should know there is another game coming out called:Build-A-Bear Workshop: Welcome to Hugsville for the Ds coming out soon.

Fun Game
This was on my middle son's Christmas wish list and I was glad to find it here. We played together and I think I ended up playing it more on Christmas than he did because I kept telling him to wait a minute. He loves it and so do all the other kids that play it.

Boring....
My kids (5 and 8) are big fans of Build-a-Bear Workshop and also the website, and they love the DS, but both decried the game as boring. I guess the two concepts don't mix well.
