This is a nice product but be sure NOT to overload it. I installed this on a trailer we have and it went on very nice and worked well. The next day my son took the trailer and when he tried to lift the ball off the vehicle, the ball stuck on the vehicle and he didn't notice. Now that he was not only lifting the trailer, he was now lifting the truck also. Too much weight. The wheel snapped off and broke in several pieces. When he tried to lift further, the gears in the end of the unit snapped in half. THIS WAS NO FAULT OF THE PRODUCT, IT WAS TRYING TO LIFT TOO MUCH WEIGHT!!. If you are using it for what it was designed for, I am sure it will last a long time. Just don't overload it.

Overall quality seems good and it functions as designed. I only gave it four stars because the attaching hardware was just cad plated rather than galvanized and started rusting after a few weeks. The jack itself is galvanized and is holding up well.

I will not recommend this product. It is in my opinion a unsafe product. I have had it less than 20 days and it collapsed dropping the front of my boat to the concrete floor of my garage. I was in the process of hooking the boat and trailer to my truck to go to the lake. As I have done since 2004 ever time with same boat and trailer. Only change, this jack stand. Luckily I only received two injuries one when the boat hit my arm cutting it and the other to my wallet. Had to go and purchase a automotive floor jack to pick up my boat and front of trailer. Had to put my old trailer jack back on trailer until I can get another replacement for this one. Thr reason it failed is Adjustment pin that is supposed to lock it place when in uses and or stored for travel. Pulled out of the hole in the mounting frame allowing the jack to swing and collapse. Letting the boat and front of trailer fall to the floor. After inspecting this jack the pin is not long enough. It only go's into the mounting frame about 1/32" trough the other side. So when I pulled on the trailer to the side to line the hitch to the ball the play in the swivel part of the jack was enough to allow the pin to pull out and collapse.

Works well for my trailer. Measure your old one and your all set if the length advertised matches . Seems to made well . Locking pin and spring seems to be sloppy but it works .

I have a 25 year-old utility trailer, which has been very good to me. Unfortunately, the crank that raised and lowered the front of the trailer is on its last legs. I have been thinking about putting a wheeled folding Jack on the trailer for several years now. This trailer Jack seems excellent. The one comment I had read is that the bolts are longer than they need to be and he needed to use extra washers. As you can see in the picture, I had the same problem, but I had washers I could use to make it fit. I am very pleased with this Jack and would recommend it highly, especially for the price.

Not bad to install. Definitely holds on solidly. And holds the boat up well. Would recommend if you need something like this for a lighter boat.

installed on a utility trailer which has slightly different mounting size so I had to open up some of the holes, but once installed it's great. i would like to have a way to keep the handle from drooping down when the jack is swiveled up. But that's the same issue with pretty much all of these types of jacks.
