⚙️ Elevate your automation game with precision sensing that means business!
The Heschen M8 Inductive Proximity Sensor Switch is a high-precision, non-shielded sensor designed to detect magnetic metals within a 2mm ±10% range. Operating on a wide 10-30VDC voltage range and delivering up to 200mA output current, it features robust protections including surge absorption and reverse polarity safeguards. Its compact 8mm mounting diameter and 120cm cable length make it ideal for professional industrial automation setups requiring reliable, accurate proximity detection.

Sensor is Too Slow for Many Purposes. Maximum Pulse Rate Should be in Description.
This review is for Heschen M8 Inductive Proximity Sensor Switch Non-Shield Type LJ8A3-2-Z/BY Detector 2mm 10-30VDC 200mA PNP Normally Open(NO) 3 WireThis sensor provides a positive going pulse in the presence of magnetic materials. Unfortunately, if more than 30 events per second are seen, the sensor stops sending pulses. This means that it cannot be used to detect rotational speed over about 1,800 RPM.Since there is no indication of maximum sensed rate in the listing, I am only deducting 2 stars. This sensor is practically useless for my intended purpose, providing an index pulse for a CNC lathe.

Good value for money
When compared to many a brand name sensor with matching specs, I can't help but wonder how those big name companies can justify prices of over $100 per sensor. A brand relies on customer confidence but also trust, trust that you aren't being made to pay far in excess of anything like a fair price. The manufacturers of certain goods like this sensor are banking on their buyers not bothering to see if there's an alternative to them. All things equal a similar sensor from MSD will cost you $152 vs $7 from this generic vendor, there arent any moving parts in these things, its just a magnetically induced voltage that's transmitted up a wire at between 0-5 or 6 volts whatever and ten interpreted by a controller. So nothing to really wear out. Sorry just can't wrap my head around that price difference when all the bits making these two sensors came from the same place
