I love this necklace! I was a bit skeptical at first about the fastener on the back being a pearl through a loop, but the waxy texture of the string gives it a fantastic grip so it doesn't slip undone. I ordered the 14" length, and it hits right in the hollow between my collarbones perfectly. It also seems to go with everything! Very pleased with my purchase!

I love it. The pearl looks whiter in real life, the tint is from the lighting at the gathering I attended while wearing it. I got the 15" for extra room, but I didn't really need it- if you have a slim neck definitely go with the 14".

Cute piece that my daughter liked a lot and asked me to order, but the chemical smell was so intense that she has not been able to wear it. It smells so bad and so strongly that wife won't even allow it in the house, and that's saying something. We've let it sit in baking soda twice for a day or so, and also washed the thing. It still smells awful. Very disappointed.UPDATE 07/18/19 - after posting the initial review, we washed this thing repeatedly in just about every imaginable household cleaner, let it sit in coffee grounds for over a week, and finally laid it in a garage windowsill to "sun out" thinking the odor might degrade with sunlight expsure and time. And we forgot about it. Last weekend I ran across it while deep cleaning the garage, and it STILL reeked of the chemical smell mentioned above. I threw it away, as my daughter found a similar necklace months ago. Still...disappointing!

Late review but I purchased this for a female teen for Christmas. She loves the set and wears it daily. No report of being uncomfortable or fraying. She bathed in it and gets a ton of compliments on it. I was very impressed with the shipping and packaging. It comes in a dark red velvet bag, ready to give. Also the pearl quality was beautiful and I honestly wanted one for myself! Lol. Although I'm a little old to wear a choker. Seriously a good purchase.

Unfortunately the system needs me to at least put one star in to be able to write a review. This is the third necklace that I have gotten and every one has smelled so bad of mildew they are not able to be worn. The look of the necklace is nice but you cannot wear it as the smell is so awful anyone near you would be able to smell it I would not recommend this necklace.

I really wanted to like this pearl choker. I got the same one in white, and love it. I understand pearls wont all be perfectly round, but this black one is really egg shaped and has dents and marks all over it. A better one, more round with less imperfections all over it could have been picked out. Not sure I will wear it. Would rather get it replaced. I dont want to keep buying one in hopes to get a better one. (White pearl for reference)

The necklace came packaged very nicely in a fabric pouch enclosed in a cellophane envelope, but when I took out the necklace, the smell of mold was overpowering. I mean, the odor was so strong that I rushed outside to gulp fresh air. It was like a punch in the face. The necklace couldn’t possibly be worn—although I suppose it would guarantee social distancing if you did. This wasn’t the pungent smell some processed leather has, it was definitely mold. The leather didn’t look moldy, so I suppose it must have been stored improperly, or come off a moldy spool of the leather where they cut off the moldy parts and used the rest. Thankfully I bought this for myself—can you imagine sending this to someone as a gift? I have no idea if the pearl was good quality or not since couldn’t bear the smell long enough to look at it.

This necklace is just what i was looking for... i was worried it would be cheap and bad quality but its great!! i love it and it came 2 weeks early! have been looking for a leather pearl for awhile and this couldn't be better! you should for sure get this one its perfect and the price is too:)

The choker was perfect! My daughter was able to size it perfectly to her neck and the quality was very good for the price. Would definitely recommend as she has had numerous compliments on the necklace!
