Work as designed
I didn't take pictures of them as shipped, came in a box that just fit the outer cases. Both batteries had dents in the plastic cases and one rattled with something lose inside. Knowing they are agm style batteries I don't think anything is going to be wrong with them even with the shipping damage. One other thing was the date code, December of 2020...it's July 2021 now...so they are somewhat dated...not sure if they get filled with the acid before they are shipped to me or not...which may not mean anything for this style battery...lead acid filled would be completely different. I did hook these up right away and got them charging, they hit 100% charge in about 6 hours then float charged for 3 days. The test was run for 48 hours and they performed exactly as they should...These are installed in a 24 volt portable fridge/freezer. These are an exact replacement for what was in this setup from new but they were date coded 2014 and took 14 hours to charge and only worked for 12 hours...knowing this was last tested in 2016 keeping these charged is very important, even if stored and not used. Put a little more into the packaging and these would be a perfect buy.It is now May of 2024 and the batteries are dead. Almost 3 years out of a set. I let them go dead a few times and that is not good for lead acid batteries.

These work very well and do not appear to leak.
I have used these batteries in several APC Smart UPS's over the years. They only seem to last a couple of years in the newer SMT series, but unlike the original batteries and the first set of CSB replacements, these didn't leak at the end of their life. I'm not thrilled with the life span, but I haven't found anything better. In the older SUA series, these seemed to last much longer, I don't know if it is UPS technology or battery technology that has changed causing the newer devices to not last as long.

Powersonic PSH12180FR
Battery quality is high and product consistency is excellent (purchased 4 batteries recently) in terms of voltage, capacity, dimensions and weight. I use them in pairs wired in series to deliver 24 volts at at current draws up to 13 amps. Product shipped next day and ground shipping was fast (3 days).

Exactly what I was hoping for!
Came in original factory packing (extremely well packed, double boxed!) and work great. I checked the voltage on them before I put them into my UPS, and both were at about 12.1V, which is fine for batteries that have just come out of temporary storage. If these work as well as the other Power-Sonic batteries I've bought in the past, I expect many years of reliable use out of them!

Four Stars
Less expensive than replacing the whole UPS. Only problem was I needed two of them.

Four Stars
Works better than what came with my Generac.

Positive and negative are opposite of what is pictured
Positive (+) and Negative (-) are reversed from what was pictured. Causes an issue with existing cable lengths as is and turns the terminals towards the engine block to make them work.

Jump starter replacement
Bought to replace the battery in my Schumacher Instant Power jump starter that wouldn't hold a charge any more. This is a quality high-output battery that will outperform and outlast the original 18 amp-hour one.
