June Gold 36 Coloured Lead Refills, 2.0 mm Extra Bold, 90 mm Tall, Pre-Sharpened, Break & Smudge Resistant

330 leads for the same price as 36 from Pentel. Enough said! I’m pretty sure my primary school kids can’t tell the difference.

I bought these to refill some Paper Mate mechanical pencils I bought that were 1.3 mm and slightly thicker than my usual pencil lead. They fit perfectly and I’m really pleased for the price as you get loads and loads and loads which will last me forever.

The leads have good colour and reasonably strong.

There aren't any duplicate colours so far as I could tell, however the colours are very waxy, meaning this doesn't really errase that well, and inking any drawing over this isn't that great either. So depending on what you bought this for, it can be pretty usefull. But for use as a base drawing to then work into a full art piece, this isn't the best option.

In my years of drawing which is many I've bought number to pencils not so much the mechanical wants even though I love them I never had the patience to change out the lead except for now I bought very nice mechanical pencils along with this lead for filling them I got to say it was worth it they are very nice and come in contact nice packaging like tic tacs it's the only way I can explain how nice the packaging is for the lead where they don't break any could store them away and save space at the same time. But they are definitely worth the value of the money they are harder to break and they give a nice point if you are a drawer and you want to use these for that then I do recommend it. I was never wanted for mechanical pencils because they never had the patience as I had mentioned but with these new leads that I found and nice mechanical pencil that I bought is definitely a win-win I would recommend these pencil leads for you or for your child in school they're really nice this sharpness is there they're a little thicker but not too thick and they function well again I do recommend this product. The lead is incredibly bendy, doesn't write, and breaks under pressure. A complete waste of my money. I'm very disappointed.

The blue is a nice, light color and the led is thin. The lead refills are exactly what I expected they would be and I have no complaints. The pencil lines don't erase very well, but that is to be expected with colored lead. Just a heads up for anyone who expects the lead to work like regular graphite...
