The leaf spring pack on my 2004 F150 was riding past the overload with a 1200 pound load. The truck was also sitting lower than stock thanks to the sag when unloaded. While SuperSprings advertises about an inch of lift, I got closer to 1 1/2 inches of lift using the pre-load setting. She doesn't feel any stiffer than stock and reacts far less to wind, passing vehicles, and uneven roads. I've only had about 600 or so pounds in the bed since I've installed them, but she's still sitting higher with no sag. Side to side movement is under far better control and there's a noticeable decrease in body-roll through turns. Installation was as simple as the online videos and instruction manual make it. The PSP goes on the center plate of the existing spring pack. You throw the front shackle on, don't over tighten it, and then compress the rear of the spring in order to bolt on the rear shackle. I needed more lift so i pre-loaded the shackle by selecting the uppermost bolt hole. Make sure the rear roller is clear of anything. You need about an inch of clearance. The front only requires about a 1/4 inch as the rear is doing most of the moving. The SuperSprings were installed along with a Timbren's SES, Rancho RS9000XL rear shocks and Rancho RS999910 Quick Lift Loaded struts.

Became a huge fan of these. I have a 5500 lbs trailer 33 ft long and this made a world of difference towing. I keep mine on all the time and my truck is stiffer with every day driving but towing and weight is totally worth it. Took about 15 minutes to install and was extremely simple. I was hesitant about these just because the price was not that much different than airbags but glad I went with these.

Absolutely love the sumo springs bump stops to replace the factory bump stops. Took what little sagg I had in my truck and sits perfectly level while towing our camper. I have a 2019 Chevrolet silverado 1500 high country, and pull a 30 foot flagstaff 26FKBS and it took the sagg out and rides so much better, especially on those rough roads. I have a E2 Furrion weight distribution hitch and had one and a half inch sagg, but the sumo springs made it sit perfectly level. Beyond pleased with sumo springs. I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed.

Second time I've used Sumo Springs on a Silverado. First time on a 2021, 2500HD with a 2500 pound camper onboard all the time. The Sumo Springs were compressed about 3/4" with the vehicle loaded and provided leveling, roll stability and did not affect the ride quality. This time I installed them on a 2022, 1500 Silverado with 300 pounds of load in the bed all the time. The Sumo springs only have about 1/2" of free spring travel before coming into contact. With less vehicle spring travel before coming into contact, they provide a firmer ride without a heavy load (not really desired but tolerable). I have not towed our trailer since this install but expect less equalizer bar lift necessary to level out the tongue load. One thing to remember, Sumo springs will not increase the GVAR (gross vehicle axle rating) load your vehicle can carry, only assist in levelling a load and keeping your headlights aligned for night travel. I may contact the manufacturer and investigate trimming the length of the Sumo Springs to provide a little more free travel before coming in contact as I don't need 1500 pounds of support. I did not use the 1" spacer that came with the kit. This may be necessary for use on the Silverado Trail Boss which sit's 2" higher from the factory. Otherwise, these are a good option for assisting in leveling your loaded vehicle and have a smooth transition with no noise.

Installed professionally in about 15 minutes on my 2020 Chevy Silverado SRT 6.2. We tow a travel trailer that weighs 7500 lbs loaded and had some porpoising issues on the miserable roads here in Nebraska. I also don't have the max towing leaf springs with the Z71 suspension (hindsight, but didn't want to wait 6 months for a truck!). All my weights are within vehicle limits. They didn't eliminate our issue but probably cut down the motion by 75%. Much better damping now. The rebound was terrible without these installed. They leave about an inch clearance unloaded so the day to day ride isn't compromised. The last tow was in a steady 25 mph crosswind with guts to 30 and there was virtually no side to side motion for the truck. I also have a weight distribution setup and the installation of these actually raised the rear of the truck 1/2 inch with the trailer attached. Our RV dealer liked the way it is setup. Call me pleased!

I had the Timbren bump stops on my previous truck and they worked great when towing but when not towing I was very disappointed with the ride of my truck, felt like my half ton was one ton truck. I was skeptical about the Sumo Springs but I decided to give them a try and they worked great!! When the truck is empty or not towing the ride quality did not change one bit. Had my first chance to tow with them this weekend. Towed an enclosed trailer with a full size old heavy car. Pushed the back down a little as expected but still had plenty of suspension movement with the Sumo's. Gave a nice steady drive without bottoming out the truck's suspension. Very happy with the product A+++

Easily Installed on 2018 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4. Fits perfectly and helps to prevent the serious sagging suspension I had with the 32 ft RV hooked up to it. I'm personally not experiencing stiff or hard suspension with no load on it. Recommend this as a cheap alternative to air bags.

These are quality helper springs that are easy to install and maintenance free!

Easy to install, did inprove the ride with quad in back and does not bang or ride hard when box is empty.
