So we've had our house decorated recently and wanted to update or replace the lights , one of these was chosen for the entrance hall.Initial impressions were a bit, meh, looks cheap , but once up on the ceiling with the cover on it looks kind of modern no frills until you switch on.I already had the smart life app installed on my phone, just press the plus sign top right, then lighting, tap lighting again and it shows WiFi ceiling light, you have to put the light into pairing mode by turning on, off, on ,off and on and it should blink quickly, in the app select blinking and it then connects. Alexa added the light automatically in life skills.Rename the light to HALL LIGHT and then just say, alexa, turn on the hall light. Same again to turn off, or you can just use the light switch. I also said, alexa change hall light colour to purple and it did.Easy to install, easy to setup in the app and easy to use with either just your usual light switch or the alexa voice command, the app is good too, you can adjust brightness and hue and change the colours.Bought another for the landing light and might buy one for the bedroom and lounge.Quite impressed so far.

Good sturdy quality. Robust and very easy to install and set up. Easy to remove the shade to clean but be careful not to drop it I'd say it could crack quite easily. It's surprising cos the light fitting itself is good strong metal, well powder coated and I would say long lasting. Uses the standard SmartLife light bulb UI as well which makes it ery straightforward to set up and use. Hae it in a bathroom where the style works fine but I wouldn't put it in a living or dining room as it is a bit utilitarian looking and not high on style. But a very good product at a decent price considering the features. Would recommend. Also excellent quality documentation and instructions to go with it. You can't go wrong, ery detailed and well done.

Does everything it says it does, easy to connect easy to put up. Feels fairly cheap construction but then it is cheap! Does the job

Arrived well packaged. Easy to install with the option to use current wiring to connect or use the supplied wire, just a quick release of connection block to make your choice.Was really easy to set up to the WiFi (already have the smart app from a different product). Then just as easy to link to Alex's.Plenty bright enough, with a number of preselected scenes and colours or the free choice to mess with the colours.It is also very light (as in weight) so I am not worried about the fitting to the ceiling, which is just via three screws - supplied, with plugs as well.Overall very happy with this excellent value light.

White and yellows are excellent with great strength and throw of the light. Fantastic for day working when you need to boost the white light also (day is overcast etc). However colours are very disappointing and do not light the room at all. When you watch the LEDs without the shade on it’s easy to see why - there are very few colour LEDs and far more for the yellows and whites. Slightly disappointing given the fun of this is mainly in the colours but still a great light with good app integration and easy voice control.

Excellent item, very bright, full range of RGB variations, easily connects to WiFi, controllable by app and voice commands to Google assistant on phone of via nearest nest within voice range, can setup in Smart Life and then import into Google Home. Perfect replacement for old bathroom light, colour control and intensity allows setting the mood for joint showers/baths with partner :)

Having 5 they are excellent lights, they work well with Alexa and give good light, I then to keep them on white myself
