Best product ever
I literally use this all over my 35 acre farm. I prune my fruit trees, my grapevines, get rid of weeds and small trees, bushes and use them in my veggie and rose garden. I carry these on my tractor for low branches that are in my way. If a limb is too big, I just cut halfway threw, pull it out, cut the other side and then make one more cut in the middle and it’s down. I have arm issues where I tore my rotary cuff and probably have arthritis in my hand so trimming with regular tree pruners, saws and stuff really hurts me. This is a lifesaver for my arm and hands as I don’t have to squeeze hand pruners over and over, I just push the trigger. Likewise I’m not having to handle large pruning shears with both hands . It’s a little heavier for me, over 50 female, but then again I have issues with my arms and hands so it will probably not be as heavy for you. This gets my work done a lot faster especially in the vineyard where I have 150 plants I have to prune back all summer. I just walked through zip zip zip and it’s done! The battery lasts a long time I don’t have to charge it every weekend. And I love the fact that comes with two battery chargers and an extra set of blades. I’ve had this for a year and a half and with all the cutting that I do I am just now having to replace the blade, mostly because I accidentally cut through a few wires and bent back the blade on a few spots. In the winter I keep everything in the original box because it has foam inserts and everything is Secure in its place. For me this has been the best investment, it’s well worth the money.

Crazy powerful, crazy dangerous, batteries are trash
This thing is DANGEROUS but that's because it's extremely effective at what it does.. be sooooo careful using this. It slices through anything you can fit in between the blades. I'm a bit disappointed though because it came with 2 batteries but one died immediately.

Extremely pleased with the red Komok shears.
First I ordered the blue shears but the battery charger would always show a red light even after 8 hours and it would stall going through half inch limbs.. I returned it and bought the red one. The red one is excellent. I used it non-stop for 3 hours the first time and it did everything I asked of it. And when I shut down for the day, the battery level was still in the green. On the second day I used the other battery and used it for hundreds and hundreds of cuts and the battery was still in the green, Hope that means that this shears don't take a lot of energy out of the battery. This one includes the more powerful 21 volt batteries. The 18 volt batteries on the blue one just didn't have enough energy. I found it peculiar that it calls for canola oil as a lubricant, but that's what I used. Mineral oil is good too. After each use, the blade cleaned up nicely with a small scrub brush and a small amount of liquid soap. Even though it is rather expensive, I'm very pleased with the performance. The carry case is a nice bonus too.

Highly recommend!
My husband will only use these when he prunes all of our apple trees. And we have lots of them. This was his second set as the first set still works but stopped counting how many cuts. lol. The quality is good and it is easy to use. Just be careful you don’t ever stick your finger in there cause it will cut it off. They are very strong.

Great!
I'm getting older and have some medical issues. I do a lot of pruning around our property and after struggling with a large butterfly bush I found these and decided to give them a try. They are wonderful! I was afraid they might be too heavy but they are not and they cut so cleanly and so quickly. I'm a little concerned I might accidentally nip myself with them sometime, but so far so good. When they arrived the oil bottle had leaked all over so I had to clean that up. When I wrote to the company asking what type of oil was in the bottle and explaining why, they apologized and sent me a free blade. The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to open and close the clasps on the case. I have to pry them open with a screwdriver. They might want to look into that, especially if they are trying to promote these for arthritis sufferers.

Good quality, easy to use
Great product! Have used it for 2 years now and not a single problem with it. Seems like once I get started with it, I can’t stop! Easy to use, comfortable for my arthritic hands, charges up quickly. Was pleased with battery time. Would recommend!

Exceeded expectations
It took me a long time to pull the trigger on this purchase (pun not intended). It was a big expenditure for my economy, but I really like this tool! I have used it for over a year now, though not all the time. I use it primarily to cut small volunteer trees (a lot of them!) and it is so convenient to use along with herbicide instead of having to use two hands on a pair of loppers. The batteries last for hundreds of cuts before needing charged. My biggest complaint is that the battery latch occasionally allows the battery to slide out far enough to lose contact with the tool. It is very powerful and can cut most any tree that fits in the jaw. A little trick I use to help it power through bigger material is the bend the tree or branch away from the blade as it cuts, which reduces friction and helps the tool cut easier.

The tool does exactly what it is listed to do and that is to cut branches or twigs etc to a maximum of an inch. Anything more then it it will take a few more chomps at it but you should ideally be using a chainsaw instead of this. Just two things - the tool cuts quick so keep a close eye on where your fingers are and don’t be complacent. The other is that you will need 1x EU to UK power plug adapter as the charger has an EU power plug. Oh, the instructions are unfortunately in French, so use Google translate. But apart from that, it’s a fantastic tool which operates as good as my Stihl tools.

Wow!! This pruner is a branch munching beast . If you have a lot of pruning to do and have a problem squeezing ordinary pruners especially on thicker branches for any reason then this battery operated pruner is for you. First though I must say that I have only used it for a few days so if any problems surface I will submit an update. The pruner I am reviewing is the blue one with the 30mm diameter cut rating. It comes with a nice fitted case that holds the pruner, 2 rechargeable batteries, a charger a small bottle of oil and 2 tools for tightening or replacing blades. I found the pruner to be very well balanced when the battery is attached. I should mention that the charger has 2 charging leads so that both batteries can be charged at once. There is a red charging light on the charger that turns green when the batteries are charged which only takes a couple of hours. The pruner has a handy charge meter built in that lets you know the battery state. The owner's manual is pretty good at explaining the operating procedure and should be read carefully . The tool has an on off switch and you have to pull the trigger twice quickly to put it into work mode. The blades are EXTREMELY SHARP and powerful and would lop a finger off in the blink of an eye so always watch where your fingers are. The trigger pull is very light so your finger does not get tired when working for a long time. The battery seems to last for a very long time, I was cutting continually for 3 hours on first use and it still was going strong. So I am very impressed with this tool , I am a senior and couldn't squeeze a manual pruner for very long anymore especially the 1 inch thick ones , this cuts them effortlessly. Last advice, read the manual .
