Bought this electric blanket for my elderly mum after her old one gave up during the first sign of winter. This one? Bigger, softer, warmer, and, apparently, too posh to sleep on.“It’s too nice, I don’t want to ruin it,” she said, while carefully folding it and placing it back in the box like it was fine china. The material is lovely, soft but sturdy, and the coverage is generous. Fits her bed perfectly, and actually reaches the corners, unlike her old one that gave up halfway across the mattress.Functionality is simple enough, even for someone who still calls the remote “the clicker.” Controls are easy, heats up fast, and the warmth is consistent across the whole thing. Only real complaint she had was that it slides around a bit on the mattress, especially since it goes over rather than under the fitted sheet, she would’ve preferred one that stays tucked underneath.Colour’s neutral, so it doesn’t clash with anything, not that she’s letting it out of the box long enough to find out. Material feels premium, which may be part of the problem, when something’s too good, mums assume it's for guests or royalty.All in all, a great product. Now I just have to convince her it’s meant to be used, not admired like a museum exhibit.

Faultless. Beautiful quality fabric. Heats up mega quick. Great heat controls. Large blanket covering length ways for one person, turned width ways comfortably covers two people. Worth every penny. Lovely stylish pattern.

I can’t say enough about this blanket; it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s so luxuriously soft, cozy and comforting and the quality is outstanding. It’s a lovely size - definitely big enough for 2 people. It heats up fast, and the quality LED digital control is simple to use and has enough heat settings to suit everyone, plus 1, 3 and 9 hour timers.It’s not only washable but can be tumble dried as well.

I bought this because my husband has a couple of metal joints and osteoarthritis in many others that haven’t been replaced and the cold affects all of them. He was absolutely delighted because he can be toasty sitting in his chair with or without turning the heat on. Other reviews have mentioned the quality and functionality which I wholeheartedly agree with. The fact is, this blanket/throw has been beneficial to my husband’s condition and comfort and was well worth the money.

Heats quickly and holds heat when turned off. Much smaller than expected. Thick and heavy and slides off bed. Due to thickness and weight does not drape as in picture. In spite of all that its well worth buying. Not sure about the price increase!

controls are easy to use.heater is'nt too hot,fur is attractive,fits a two seater sofa .much cheaper to run than having the heating on permanently,smooth velvet underside and a good weighted item I'm very happy with my purchase

Prior to this I had the herringbone grey blanket, which was also what I'd call top tier.But, someone gave that blanket away in a bundle of free to collect stuff by mistake, come the cold weather and suddenly it dawns on us that it's gone and it was last seen in the same room as the bundles of free gear.So, after a lot of back and forth we decided it was just so good good despite the expense (which has gone up!) we can't be without it so let's just buy same one again.Given that the faux-furr option was on sale for just 5 quid more than the herringbone I decided to go for that instead.So, I can say furr is exactly the same as the herringbone, the furr is nice and soft feeling with a cream satin-esque lining on the inside, but both heat up equally well and both feel identical in build/quality.The internal heating cables are barely noticable, sure its slightly more stiff than a normal blanket but it's flexible and comfortable & heats up quickly and has more than enough range to be too hot even for lovers of warmth.One thing I will say is, if you have pets/pet hair then maybe the Herringbone model is the better choice as you can run over it with a lint roller, this furr is going to be a nightmare to rid of pet hairs & the cream lining on the inside is another potential dirt magnet, and really you get this heated up and even your neighbours pets will be knocking on the door for a cuddle.In hindsight, I'd probably have gone herringbone again for that reason but I'm not going to slate the furr at all, it's bloomin' lovely! - but the herringbone is just as lovely and slightly more practical.

I will start by stating that I purchased the Zebra print and what I received barely resembles the picture on Amazon. I would say its more like the Husky design but in grey tones. The stripes are there but they are deep in the pile and only really visible if you brush in a certain direction. Aside from that, its amazing. Thick, plush and incredibly warm. I have been so cold lately and my heating bills are becoming a worry. So this is giving me warmth, comfort and peace of mind as I am now switching the heating off earlier in the evening and keep it on a lower setting all day. The controls are exactly the same as the electric blanket on my bed. You can select temperature and duration. Highly Recommended.
