As stated, this thing s made of real metal, it is lined with a soft felt or velvet and has a nose slot with holes for easy breathing. The thick leather straps are riveted firmly. It is badass! but you may want to hot glue some foam all around the mask for comfort. Not for little kids but my 12 year old loves it. has sharpish edges.

I bought this to display (not wear) along with my MF DOOM albums. It is wearable, but would be annoying to wear for an extended amount of time. Beyond that, it's metal and it looks exactly like I wanted it to. It was covered in a thin layer of oil when it arrived, but it wiped right off. Overall very pleased!

The mask itself is the most important part, and the maker nailed it. The straps are a bunch of leather belt pieces that are just too short for my regular sized adult head. There's no padding, so you'll need to add some yourself, cause otherwise the metal will jab the hell out of your face with all the hard edges. The mouth opening is a little low, so it might be hard to enjoy my cheetos, doritos, and fritos, but again I haven't added any padding so it might fit better when I do that and replace the straps.

I purchased this for my Love who is a HUGE MF DOOM fan and mounted it in a shadow box for awesome 3D art. He promptly took it off and put it on lol. He loved it. Its heavy, real metal and the leather lining and straps were a great finishing touch. The stitching did come loose just at the buckle but definitely something you can fix with an upholstery needle.

Items quality is insanely great. I was waiting for a slightly above average Halloween mask but this quality tops that by mass amounts and I am very happy with my purchase.

Purchase for Halloween costume. Although beautifully constructed, it is heavy and the leather padding on the back doesn't do well with sweat. Its nice for display purposes but not really sure about it being a mask.

I got this as something to display on my wall and it was exactly what I was hoping for. As others have stated it it did come with some oily residue still on it, but it was very easy to whipe off. There are a few scratches and imperfections if you look close enough. Overall I think it is a great item to display but not necessarily to wear. R.I.P DOOM

Got this as a gift for my bf, he loves it! About after a year of owning it it started to rust though
