This is a nice book. it has supply lists and easy to follow instructions. These are real photo instructions and not computer designed ones. Some folding techniques are added as well as embellishing blank cards. some use special paper ( I haven't tried as I have to order paper online) Stamped, colored etc. Nice book and I have used it make cards with kids.

Some useful hints in this book but some of the projects are old fashioned.

My wife is a serious cardmaker and I bought this card making book for her as a present. She loves it. For the amateur, it has all the basics and for the more seasoned hobbyist, it provides illustrations and pictures to satisfy an inquiring mind. The text is written in an easy to understand manner and the chockfull with pictures. As a reference guide or as a source of inspiration, it crosses all levels.
