Crayola Modeling Clay in Bold Colors, 2lbs, Gift for Kids, Ages 4 & Up

My kids absolutely love these! They have so much fun with this clay! It doesn’t dry out, so my kids continue to recreate. My kid’s online school sent them some cheap clay when school started for art class, so I already knew I needed to come buy some more of these. The only thing if your kiddos are anything like mine expect to find some things staring at you! Haha

My kids love this stuff! I bought it in late 2022 for a long road trip/week long stay with family and didn’t want something that would be played with for 5 minutes, left out and dried up like play doh. I was a little skeptical about it being sticky, but it’s not messy at all! My kids just pulled this stuff back out and it’s still as fresh as it was nearly 3 years ago! Fixing to order more since the now 5 year old has mixed all the colors together 😅 and my 11 year old wants to make beautiful, colorful and lifelike works of art.

Love this modeling clay. It is soft, colorful and easy to use. It is not the one that would dry and rather the one that you can keep using and re-using. I grew up with something similar and it gave me major throwback to my childhood and creative days I used to have as a kid. Love that I can share this experience with my childhood now!

This product is fabulous for making a stress ball out of it. Used for that or anything you need to make. I love it

The 2lbs of clay is plenty for extended crafting sessions, and the texture is smooth and soft, not too sticky, which helps prevent messes. It also doesn’t dry out quickly, so it’s ideal for a few days of play without having to constantly store it. However, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it can get a little hard to clean up if the clay gets on fabrics, and it can leave stains on some surfaces. It’s also not as easy to blend together to make smooth transitions between colors, which is something I noticed when trying to create more complex designs.

This is the second or third time of buying this clay, my kids absolutely love it. Not too sticky, perfect size, it gets hard if left out for too long.

Crayola clay is by far the best quality

This clay works great! It lasts basically forever because it doesn't dry out. When my kids were younger, I used to buy like 10 packs a month because they kept on using it to make a little clay city with animals. The clay in the open package that they didn't use fully, still works the exact same! It does harden a bit, but you can easily soften it back up with your hands.

Bold colours, needs to be worked a bit when you take it out of the packaging but afterwards it's super easy to mold and sculpt, whatever you mold keeps shape, actually doesn't dry out. I kept my little sculptures out for a week uncovered, was able to easily re-mold into something else, gets a little "stiff" and needs working at first but after a min it's super easy. The box is kind of deceiving however, in reality they're 1x1x4 inches. Although as you can tell from the photo, it's still a good amount of modelling clay and you can still do quiet a bit. Just be prepared for the faulse advertising. Others have posted pictures showing real sizes. Overall though, I would still give it a solid 5, loosing one point obviously for faulse advertising.

We really liked the clay. It does not get dry, stays soft and does not have any ugly odour. Great for kids.

Super large jumbo clay pack at 1/2 the price you find in stores. 8 basic colours so you can mix/match at your leisure. This pack was perfect for my niece, would definitely recommend!
