I have had a number of different types of hose over the years. In different ways they have all had their drawbacks. This is difficult to judge because I have not been able to use it; a) Very much & b) As I had expected to. The hose comes with one end to be screwed into a garden tap, fair enough except it spurts water across the adjacent wall. However, that means it cannot be used on a hose reel of the type that has push fit connectors inside and out. Obviously it can be put on a reel but to use it you have to unwind the whole thing to fix it to the tap. The other end comes with an adjustable nozzle which works ok, but again it is a screw fitting, so if you want to use it with another hose for greater distance - well, it may be possible but I have not found a suitable jointing method yet. I suspect that the basic problem is this unit is American and perhaps their standard fittings are all screw fit rather than push fit. On the whole I would suggest avoiding this unless all you need it for is using the nozzle supplied. If you need to fit it to anything push fit, such as a pressure washer - steer clear.

Use this for our RV. In the winter I use a Y adapter at the faucet with heat tape and an insulated bag to protect from freezing. I zip tie the bag on so dogs, kids or wind doesn’t remove it. I have 1 always on hose for RV water supply but like to have a second hose I use for rinsing road salt off our vehicles and flushing out my black tank when I dump it. I attached this to the Y adapter and leave it always on, then a shut off valve at the other end of this before my 2nd rubber hose. It is very flexible which allows me to easily pull it out and push it back up into the bottom of my insulated bag to protect the shut off valve I put on the end of it from freezing, no need to unziptie or remove my insulated bag, it works perfectly. Anyone who has a complaint about leaking would probably have the same complaint no matter what they used. Their problem is they over tighten the connection, probably with a tool like pliers. Garden hose connectors are designed to just go together hand tight for the best seal, over tightening them is far more likely to lead to leaks than under tightening. Put the rubber washer in, hand tighten, and you won’t have any problems.

This hose is exactly as described. Seems very sturdy and the ends are metal and not plastic. I can't say too much more because I've only had it a short time so I have no idea how durable it will be, but it is fairly lightweight and kink free, which is what I was looking for. Also very easy to loop for hanging. So far, so good.

Excellent garden hose... we have a large backyard and this hose goes all the way to the back and I can take it all the way around to the front of the house also. Never folds or kinds and it is very lightweight. Quite heavy duty and easy to put away after we are done watering. Very happy with this purchase and I recommend it to anyone who has experienced problems with regular hoses kinking and coming apart...

I bought this for not what it was made for but for a drain hose for my portable ac unit. It works great, no leaks and very flexible. I love it

This hose is super flexible and is perfect for use in a laundry tub connected to your laundry faucet. Compared to a regular hose where you would have to fight it due to a stiff hose, this thing is a dream. Seems well built and quality as well. Been using it for over a month and I expect it to last. It couldn't be any better!
