Old World Christmas Glass Blown Ornament Cockatiel (16109), Grey

The item itself is lovely and any lab owner will love it. Sadly, the box was rather battered. Someone had tried to open it from both sides, so they were torn and bent back and there was a crease in the bottom of the box. As I'm giving it as a gift I will have to buy another box, so keep that in mind if you're buying for someone else in case your box is the same, but I have to say, the ornament itself is lovely, VERY accurate and not "cartoonified" like some dog and cat ornaments can be, lovely face and a little black sparkle here and there to make it Christmassy so I know my friends will be very pleased with it.

He's such a beautiful bird! Brilliant colours and sparkly too. Wonderful detail and the beak is super sharp. Well packed so he arrived in perfect condition. I just love him. It's such a shame that there were so few Old World Christmas ornaments available in the UK at a reasonable price. This little chap just about doubled in price in the space of a few days. These seem to retail in the States for about £5 but the price on Amazon in the UK is up to £35. As far as I can tell they are designed in Germany so why so expensive in the UK? I'd love to collect them but they are just too expensive.

Beautiful ornament, very pleased with it,... I've fallen in love with the Old World Christmas tree decorations..... Looks lovely on my Christmas tree 🎄.... Worth the expense in my opinion as it's very special ❤️.... Lots of people have commented how nice it is xxx

A very Beautiful bauble and very well made, bought in remembrance of our beloved dog who died this year, ordered this from England on the Thursday 13th Dec with normal delivery from America, wasn't expecting it to arrive until after Christmas or New Year, to our astonishment it arrived Monday 17th Dec! Lovely lovely vintage looking cockapoo Christmas tree ornament. It is very well modled. It looks just like a cheeky puppy. A must for all cockatoo lovers. This is a great price compared to the ones on ebay. Came well wrapped and was not over long in coming.
