Kate Farms Organic 1.4 High Calorie Nutrition Shake was incredibly helpful during a very challenging time. We used it to help my mom maintain her weight while she was undergoing intensive cancer treatment, and it made a meaningful difference. The vanilla flavor is smooth and easy to drink, even on days when her appetite was low. It’s filling, gentle on the stomach, and packed with protein, calories, and essential vitamins, which gave us peace of mind. A high-quality, reliable nutrition option that truly supported her when she needed it most. Highly recommend.

If you are lactose intolerant, these are the best drinks out there. My stomach did not hurt. The convenience was perfect, especially if you are sick and need the calorie count. The thickness was just right did not taste chalky and no smell.

Great ingredients and actually tastes nice. Did not like the vanilla flavor. We’ve had all three flavors and they are all acceptable. The chocolate is actually a good flavor.

I have gastroparesis, which means my stomach doesn't process food the way it's supposed to, so most foods are out....add in that I'm allergic to an extremely large amt of foods (& other things), & I literally can't find anything else that I can "eat". So, this is a life saver. That said, it is very expensive, which is a problem when I, like many who might need this, really can't afford it. It is also becoming impossible to find it in plain flavor, & thanks to said allergies, I can't have chocolate & vanilla is iffy. And, other formulas they make, while similar, are either less of a "meal" & more of a snack, or almost 150% of the cost & actually too filling so I can't consume them either. If the price were better and esp if it were possible to count on being able to get the 1.4 plain flavor, I would give it five stars. edited to add: the last orders have had multiple containers w/ poorly sealed tops, & they leaked when I drank from them. I didn't realize that the 1st time it happened until after I'd consumed most of the bottle. Since they're supposed to be refrigerated after opening, & due to the leak had essentially been opened for quite some time, I wound up getting very sick after drinking that bottle (granted it may be a coincidence, but I hadn't been exposed to anything or consumed anything else that would make me sick, so I want to warn others about this possibility)...... also, given the high cost of this product, losing more than one due to leaks is upsetting.....add in that it's often not in stock, & I rely on it for all my nutrition (can't consume other similar products), so having it leak is a big issue I still feel that the product itself is quite good, but I am really not happy with these issues edited again to add: Amazon refunded the defective order, so that part is no longer an issue....I am leaving the info about what happened in case anyone else needs to know, though due to the possible safety issue (& also in case the company that makes the product reads this, they might be able to prevent it from happening in the future)

Excellent product. I have a digestive issue and was losing way too much weight. A nutritionist recommended this because I don't like the junk they sell in stores with artificial flavoring. It has been a huge help. I have gained weight and am actually able to eat more real food since my body is getting easier nutrition with these drinks (so less acid reflux). Now I have to doctor up the vanilla a bit. The chocolate is good on its own. I have to smoothie-fy the vanilla a bit by blending in some fruit or, my favorite, peanut butter which tastes delicious and adds even more calories, fat, & protein for those struggling to gain weight. No it isn't cheap but it is jam-packed with nutrition and my body feels much better.

I’m so disappointed. My partner found these for me and was very hopeful. I have gastropareisis and it causes me to lose weight quickly and I was told to follow an all liquid diet from now on. These were the only shakes in an affordable range on disability and now I’ve wasted money on two packs of them. They’re basically inedible to me. To start off the flavor I bought was chocolate and they do not taste like chocolate at all. They have a texture like wet ground chalk and are so thick they’re hard to swallow with my condition. The other shakes I’ve drank are nowhere near this thick. I tried mixing it into my coffee to make it thinner but it still looked the texture of pudding. They also taste mildly tangy and spicy and you can very much taste the garlic in it. For someone who is sensory aversive and already had ARFID this was a very bad mistake.

These are great but the taste is definitely plant based, so its slightly different tasting compared to premier or boost. I drink one of these every other day because I don't eat enough.

Tasty, high nutrition & extra calories for me. Lost a lot of weight due to ulcerative colitis. Expensive but worth it for me.
