great air filter. it fit my 2008 Wolfsburg edition jetta 2.00TFSI. I have seen a boost in my mpg about 2mpg improvement. It also seems to have made my car a little more responsive.

Always go with the K & N for all of your vehicles, it’s an easy upgrade. This fits a 2008 GTI. Earlier models may not have the angled corner though double check before ordering.

Used in a 2007 VW MK5 GTI. Made it a little easier to rev up from idle, especially when A/C is on. and the intake tone on VOT is a bit highlighted. However, these improvements are very subtle, I think not everybody will discern it. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have noticed improved performance for my vehicle. Too early to tell if it will last as long as they say. A word of caution, I had to pay the price of a K&N 33-2865 part before I could get the correct one - K&N 33-2888. Their filter K&N 33-2865 does not fit all VW GTIs despite a confirmation from the "Parts Verification" feature provided in the Ad.

Its just better to swap the whole cold air intake rather than just filter. They're both great but soon or later you would wanna get your hands on cold air intake, just be smart do it now than later, you will save.

When I was looking into a reusebale air filters, I knew I wanted a K&N. My family have always used K&N and the name says it all. After replacing my paper air filter in my VW Passat, I felt the power right away. The HP increased 10-15% and MPG was more efficient. I recommend buying 2 so that you can replace one with the other after 20K miles. The drying process takes a few days after you take one out and clean it. Make sure to invest in lubricsting oil spray , also manufactured by K&N.
