What a great sink
We have had this installed about a week so far it seems to be a great sink , heavy duty construction, the finish is great so far, time will tell how it holds up but it seems to be a great sink, they installed it when they did our granite it was easy to install , it’s a very big sink and is just great overall……EDIT… it is now 9-7-21 and the sink has started getting spots on it that we cannot hardly get off and by the time you do get the spots off the sink is scratched and the coating is coming off …. Very very disappointed now I have to get it replaced I guess unless someone can tell me how to fix it it’s almost like the coating on bottom has came off I don’t know but don’t waste your money on this edit again 5/30/23…. I contacted torva about the sink and they did send sone rubber feet for the bottom grid which they said was causing the rust spots , I originally wanted a replacement sink but after thinking about it I don’t want to replace it with one that might do the same thing so anyway I talked to sunshine there and she was very helpful and nice and like I said sent us the new rubber feet and a small refund to purchase sone special cleaning stuff they recommend , so in the end I’m not happy about the sink but I am pleased that they were very helpful and willing to make it right

Awesome value, excellent quality, nice extras.
I was overwhelmed with the quality of this sink for the price. I bought it to install under a diy concrete countertop installed over a cabinet fashioned from a vanity. It is to serve as a bar sink in a basement entertainment room. The first thing that amazed me was the packaging! Great detail is taken to protect the sink to including double boxing and placing it in it's own little cloth "stuff sack". Next were all the 'extras'. Most sinks come with the mounting hardware, but not with the strainer plumbing kit. Not only did it come with the undermount sink clips and strainer, but with a wire grate for the bottom of the sink as well as a plastic colander. I thought the plumbing kit would be cheap and I'd have to purchase a different one for quality, but that was not the case. The sink cutout template was accurate. High quality for a hundred less than others I’d found that didn’t include all the extras. Quick shipping too. The only think I had problems with was the undermount sink hardware. It comes with brass anchors which are to be placed in holes you drill. You are then to screw the wing bolts with stopper hexnuts down into the anchors. The instructions gave me a bit size to use for the anchors. The anchor holes ended up being a bit too large. I fixed this by placing some epoxy down into the hole and then putting the anchors with the bolts screwed into them (with some wd40 on them as well) and taped to hold until dry. Worked like a charm and I probably would have used some epoxy anyway. btw - JB Weld works on concrete and metal.

This company, Torvo has been a great company to do business with, they made an issue we has right
'The sink we ordered from Torvo is a nice looking sink in person. It's a good sturdy metal and looks like a quality product. The price was great for the quality of the sink. Most importantly; when the sink arrived it was a little bent and would not sit flat on the counter. We emailed the company through amazon, we heard back from them very quickly. We sent them photos as they requested. They called to discuss us possibly keeeping the sing and attempting to bend it back. We agreed to try it and they offered a deep discount on the sink for our troubles. The lady who called to discuss our options was kind, pleasant, courtious, and eager to make things right with us. They in fact gave us the discout as promiced. I would confidently do business with Torvo in the future.

Well Made
This sink is beautiful. Bought it for our outdoor kitchen and am very impressed with the quality of this sink. Honestly did not expect it to be as attractive and heavy as it is given the price. Also appreciate the included rack but do wish it had a cover as it will be outdoors. It easily passes for a far more expensive sink. I love how deep it is and really like the size and shape for an outdoor island. Very pleased with this purchase as is our contractor-he even commented on what a nice sink it was. Highly recommend.

Deep sink with a deep drain assembly
First off, I'd buy this sink again if needed. Fully knowing this was an 'undermount sink' I bought this for a basement bar to use in a laminate countertop as a drop-in sink. In the Questions Answered section there was a reply by the manufacturer stating it should be fine for this application. It did fine as a drop-in but as you will see in the photos, the two side edges did not sit perfectly flush with the countertop like the front and back did. I think the insulating coating on the underside of the sink lip is what caused it to sit differently on different sides. If used as an undermount, I dont believe this would have been an issue. I sealed under the sink lip with 100% silicone to seal the sink and prevent water from getting under but I'd sleep easier if it were perfectly flush. One other issue I ran into was that the provided sink drain was VERY deep. With the sink already being 9 inches deep, adding a 4 inch deep sink drain presented an issue with allowing the trap to hook up and properly drain down hill. I had to buy a traditional after-market drain that was half as deep as the one provided (which is a shame because the provided drain and strainer basket would have been awesome for a bar sink). This isn't necessarily an issue with the manufacturer, but a word of wisdom when installing a deep sink... make sure you have enough room to still hook up your drain. It would have been even worse had I actually used it as an undermount sink since that would have lowered the sink another 1.5-2 inches! Overall the sink and provided accessories are good quality from what i can tell so far. I'm happy with the purchase but a few small thinks (like no insulated coating on the lip of the sink to help with drop-in installation and an option for traditional vs basket drain with purchase) would have made this purchase perfect. If you're on the fence about purchasing a Torva sink, I'd say go for it but make sure a deep sink absolutely fits and there is at least 5 inches below the bottom of the sink to include the provided drain.

Beautiful
Forgive my ugly blue primed backsplash area....but this sink is gorgeous. I'm actually very pleased it is not coal black as it would have clashed with my counter and true black faucet (not bronze). As far as scratches, I am being careful to not use steel wool to clean it and it still cleans up beautifully. No scratches and it's been in for over 6 months. The only negatives: It is under mount and has a huge grate on the bottom. I have 2 negatives and not sure it is "the sink's fault/design" or the people that installed it. The bottom could be an 8th of an inch pitched towards the drain. The sink is so level the water needs a little help being pushed towards the drain. (I believe that is an install problem) It is NOT that bad and am figuring it out. (This is my first time with a sink of this size.) Secondly, The grate is there for protection but to really clean the sink, it needs to be taken out each time. Not really a problem, just an extra step I had not anticipated. (And I am lazy.) Overall, love thus sink, it is a a dark gun metal and just beautiful.

Absolutely Great!
I bought this sink along with a faucet and glass rinser for my wet bar. Couldn't be happier! It came in great condition and is absolutely machined to perfection. It's low profile design looks slick and fits perfectly flat on the counter. Just lay clear silicone around the edge of the opening in the countertop (use template to cut opening) and drop it in. The drying rack in the bottom meets my needs to a tee! Feels extremely durable and has an awesome gunmetal finish. Would highly recommend for anyone needing a single basin sink for a wet bar.
