Constantly Jams – Very Frustrating to Use
I purchased the MAKITA DFN350Z 18V nailer expecting a reliable and efficient tool for my woodworking projects, but it has been nothing short of frustrating. The biggest issue is that the nailer constantly jams. Even when using the correct 18GA nails and following the instructions, I frequently have to stop work to clear nail jams, which slows down progress significantly. It’s especially annoying during longer jobs when you rely on consistent performance. The tool itself feels well-made and comfortable to hold, and the battery life is decent. However, the frequent jamming overshadows these positives and makes it difficult to trust the nailer for any serious work.Additionally, the nail loading mechanism feels a bit fiddly and can be awkward to use, especially if you’re in a hurry or wearing gloves.Overall, I expected much better from a MAKITA product. For the price, this nailer should be smoother and more reliable. If you’re considering this model, be prepared for constant maintenance and interruptions.
