167UH Next Gen Steelhead Fixed Blade Fillet Knife

I know it's not a slicer but it does have some great flex. I was not expecting it to be able to flex as much as it does which can be useful for fishing and have to test it out from the other 9 fillet knives I have. great value for the money and hard to beat. I need to catch that river monster so I can test it out because it is a long knife and I use my 6 and 7 inch knives for most trouts and crappies

I bought this to replace one just like it that is 30 years old. The sheath on the old one got chewed by a dog and really only needed a sheath. Looks just like my old one except the liner in the sheath is plastic instead of steel and on the blade of the knife it says made in china instead of USA . Even though I like the knife. It has an excellent feel and holds a good edge. This one will probably outlast me. Oh my old one fits perfectly in the new sheath to.

I have used Dexter, Bubba, Rapala and a host of other filet knives. The weight, durability, flexibility and quality of this knife makes it superior.

This is a solid fillet knife, not as Flemsy and many of this size. Handle is thin but works well with good grip. Came sharp, but after a quick sharpening session it is razor sharp. Comes with a decent leather sheath.

I am hard on fillet knives. This one is well built. I have broken fillet knives with pressure on the blade this one seems solid and will be able to last me many years.

Looks good, balance is good and fits well in the hand. Blade has reasonable flexibility, can be used out of the box but needs a little love but that's okay I prefer to spend the time sharpen now and touch up as needed.

I have been using this knife for years, it was passed down to me from my father and after 20 years of using it I decided to retire it and buy a new one and I'm happy with it. Gifted one of these to a buddy as well and he enjoys it. The blade flexes very well to easily filet fish or clean up meat even. sharpens fairly easily.
