The wrap around sunglasses destroyer
I absolutely love these things. I have worn oakley gas cans and other similar brands versions for years. I saw a pair of these on a trip to hawaii in a store and tried them on. Boy am I glad I did. I instantly fell in love with them. If they weren't way more expensive at that store i would have bought them right then and there. But once I tried them on I knew these were destined to be added to my collection asap. So the first chance I got upon leaving that store i logged onto my amazon account and bought a pair. I love the shape and how light they are you can hardly tell they are on your face. The polarization is spot on and work great. And being oakley they are always top notch in terms of quality and fit and finish. So after all these years of wearing sporty sun glasses these have definitely swayed me to try and branch out a bit and I'm super glad I did. If your on the fence about picking some up for yourself do yourself a favor and get them now if not sooner. When you do and you fall in love like i did then you can thank me later.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Battle-Tested in the Field, Perfect for Civilian Life
I first started wearing these Oakley tactical sunglasses during my time in the Army, and they were absolutely essential in the field. The polarized lenses cut glare like nothing else, whether I was on patrol, on the range, or dealing with harsh desert sun. They took a beating—dust, sweat, drops, you name it—and held up without fail. Now, years later, I’ve picked up a new pair for civilian life, and I couldn’t be happier. The build quality is just as rugged, and they still look sharp without screaming "military gear." They're comfortable enough for all-day wear, whether I’m driving, hiking, or just out running errands. The polarization is a game-changer if you spend a lot of time outdoors—crisp visibility, no annoying glare, and easy on the eyes. Plus, they just feel dependable. You know that feeling when you put on gear that you know you can count on? That’s what these are. If you're looking for sunglasses that can go from combat zone to casual weekend without missing a beat, these are it.

Great sunglasses for every day use...
Living in Florida, sunglasses are almost mandatory. I wear them everywhere: driving, skateboarding, kayaking, hanging at the beach, gun range...If I'm outside, I'm wearing them. I've had sunglasses on all sides of the function/price spectrum; from little plastic POS's to some where I had to take out a mortgage. Recently, I was buying the cheap aviators that are found at truck stops or at gas stations, but they always broke or never fit comfortably (as expected) or I lost them. This is exactly why I bought them - because they were easily replaced. However, my buddy let me try his XLJs on one day and I really liked them. Eventually I figured, for the amount of money that I'm spending on $10 beaters every other week, I should just go ahead and get a good pair that I'll actually "care" about and not have to get new ones all the time. I finally got the XLJs and here's the verdict: The good stuff: They're really comfortable and light weight and it's cool that the lenses, socks* (side rubber things...?), and nose-pads can be replace or switched out. They're not too tight like a lot of sunglasses are and don't give me a headache after wearing them too long. They have good ventilation, so they don't fog up much or stay fogged up for long if they happen to. They come with extra socks, nose pads, and a really durable carrying case, which is really cool of Oakely to include them. The "but": BUT these things are expensive. For me, they are definitely an investment. I have a very active lifestyle and am often in situations where I get a little worried - Not so much that I'll break the glasses (Oakley has a good warranty that covers most breaks.), but that I'll lose them; and that's not covered by the warranty. Also, scratched lenses are NOT covered by the warranty and the replacement lenses are not exactly wallet friendly. (I've had to replace them once already after dropping them on the street while skating.) I get that these are considered "higher end" sunglasses and they ARE really nice. I like them a lot; but I can't be buying these things every time I lose them or replace the lenses every time they brush up against some sand. Salient Point: These sunglasses are great. If I could, I'd give them another 1/2 star. I've got no gripes with functionality or comfort. I'd honestly recommend them to everyone. Just put aside some extra cash just in case you drop them or heaven forbid - lose them.

Worth the money
They are exactly what I wanted. They fit just as I hoped and protect your eyes very well from the sun and glares. Definitely worth the money, would buy again

very nice
pros: + very comfortable. i sometimes forget that i'm wearing them. even after giving them all day to start irritating me, they never do. + snug fit. they don't budge even if you're moving around and working up a sweat. perfect for running and sports. + very good looks. the style is artistic but not extravagant. the blue iridescent surface is beautiful. + non-obstructive in face-to-face encounters. people standing next to you in good light can see your eyes if they look closely, just enough that you can still have the effect of eye contact. + filter out bright light but not dim light. visibility never feels reduced, even in a dark room. + extremely durable. the rim is made with a rubber-like material that's flexible enough to withstand abuse but firm enough to feel strong and fit snugly. the lenses pop out if you let them. with enough force, the temples pop out of their hinges with no noticeable damage. + lens style has more reach than most. the extended outer-lower corners cover areas that many other sunglasses don't. if there's something bright in the lower-left or lower-right areas of your vision, it's still covered. + interchangeable lenses. if you somehow get sick of them or break them, you can swap in new ones for much less than the cost of the glasses. cons: - very expensive. but even at this high end, you get what you pay for. - plastic parts look and feel like plastic. they do have a nice shiny coating that i don't imagine will wear off, but i generally tend to perceive plastic things as looking and feeling cheap. - if you're really rough in them, you might get dirt or sand in the hinges. it's easy to pop out the temples and clean the inside of the hinges, but i hesitate to repeat this process a lot, fearing that some part of the hinge will wear down over time. conclusion: one of the best purchases i have made. many of the pros listed above came as a surprise to me because i've never had a chance to wear a pair of sport sunglasses this nice. i'm glad i didn't decide to settle for something cheaper.

Very nice glasses
Loved my glasses. The lens color was spot on. They fit my fat face rather nicely. I’d still be wearing them if I hadn’t lost a nose pad, I’ll have to get them to a shop and get them fixed.

Great Oakleys in my opinion
Excellent Oakleys. I got these for a steal and they are way better in person than online
