These hog rings are good value and high-quality. They are easy to use. the size is good for cattle panels. These are heavy duty in my opinion. I don’t know the exact age, but they are pretty thick and strong.

Just throw away the 1200 various other thin, bending in half and breaking "hog rings" that were nothing more than failed staples identifying as hog rings. These are thick, round, and take a crimp like a champ. I would pay double after months of being frustrated with the other stuff.

They work great but arrived loose in the amazon shipping back. Upon opening the bag, guess what, all all over the floor. Me thinks it was on the shipper end and doubt they would just toss them in the amazon bag loose. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5, Nice quality.

Exactly what I needed to construct crab & shrimp pot harnesses. Especially like the off-set points as they clinch easily. Good uniform & consistent shape. No rejects in a bag of 100!

I finally found these - a large (3/4) size hog ring that is round in cross-section and blunt at the ends. These work 1000% better for bungee cord construction than what I see most offered in larger-sized hog rings, and what I received with my pliers: Those seem intended for upholstery jobs, and are flat in cross section and sharp at the ends, like big staples. I find it odd that I had to "discover" this for myself....no vendor I see bothers to educate the buyer about this huge difference, which indeed MAKES a huge difference when in use.
