For the price it is a great knife. Sharp and retains an edge.Nice pattern in the blade and nice handle.has been used regularly and with slight continued sharpening it has been great.Comes sharp but like any blade, keeping routine maintenance on your edge its has been a great addition to my damascus blades.

Handle has metal rings which are not flush, poor finish on what should be such a great knife. Cuts very well, let down by very poor handle finish. Consider before you buy. Detailed as Japanese, but is made in PRC and steel processed in Syria snd steel source is Japan. I didnt read carefully, otherwise I would not have bought

Extremely sharp. Been using it for a while now and it still doesn’t need sharpening. Also looks very nice, with a good weight to it.
