Static free as advertised. I think the range is longer than advertised. Worked even in a big bricked house. No block signal.Good decent toy walkie talkie for kids. Work well at a park if you want to check on your kids.

This is a Christmas gift for a special needs adult so you’re gonna have to wait till after Christmas for his true review. In the meantime my daughter and her boyfriend did check it out and they said the sound quality was very good.We wanted to make sure that it worked for him at least on Christmas Day
