Rope 3/16" Amsteel-Blue; Blue or Silver (25 Feet) (Green)

Diameter was off; 3/16" was ordered but when measured was larger than 1/4" (granted not under load). Made me curious so contacted seller who said it was what I ordered based on shipping weight-which I think would not be my first choice to verify product selection in a warehouse. Contacted Samson who recommended I search for seller in their authorized distributor list but offered no other way to verify product was manufactured by them. Since elongation is a critical aspect in my product use, I could not take the risk, so returned it.

Amsteel rocks. Especially for whoopie slings and hand splicing super strong closed permanent loops.

Works well on my Lug all hand winch. 25 feet as advertised. Eye spliced easy. Replaced 15 foot steel cable with plenty of snags. Small weight savings but big safety improvement.

Got for my backstay cascade. W*** M***** only stocked the grey, and not this size.

Very light weight. Has a good stretch.

Just as described. Looks like it will function just as planned.
