I already like diamine fountain pen inks. They are very good in all aspects (not too dry, not too long to dry, don't clog, etc.). They also are almost always well-saturated, well pigmented inks that show off colors nicely. Not only that, they are gentle on your pens, so I don't hesitate to use them on older, newer, easy-to-use, or finicky pens. These inks just work. Only issue, if you like big pens, is that the bottle's neck is too narrow for some pens to fit in, so you'll need to use an Ink Miser or similar to fill larger pens. Otherwise, with this, you get the amazing workhorse inks from Diamine at about 1/2 the price you'd pay if buying individually. And these colors are fantastic! Amber: a legible yellow that dries darker. Hard to find a good, warm orangy-yellow that doesn't look like a highlighter or just a pumpkin. This manages to be a beautiful, yet still usable, yellow-orange. Oxblood: A classic deep, rich red. Can be more formal than a bright, poppy red, so this works in a professional setting or when you are in the mood for something warm and dark. Imperial Purple: It's the color you think of when someone says purple. Vibrant, red, blue... PURPLE. Dark enough to not be lavender or lilac, but also unmistakably purple, even with a fine nib. Meadow: A solid middle green. Not too yellow, not too blue, it sits right in that grassy green middle. It's not quite as dark as some of the others, but is still a saturated, solid color that is quite legible. Aurora Borealis: a deep teal. It's blue, turquoise, and teal, all mixed together with a little black to deepen it up and add to its mystery. It's a beautiful color and an easy-to-choose blue when you want legible text but still some fun and a beautiful ink, this is a great choice. Oxford Blue: This might be the winner in an already stacked set. This is a deep, rich blue. It's dark and saturated. It is only barely not black, it's so dark. But when you look at it, it's easily blue. It works when writing on pre-printed pages and pops out just enough to know it's not black, but still is professional, will copy, and is a fantastic color. I hope these help you understand what a bargain this set is from Amazon. I'd recommend picking this up for just about any fountain pen user to introduce them to new ink colors or to supplement an already existing collection.

I like to be able to change my writing color to match my mood. Over time I've had trouble finding distinctive fountain pen ink colors. The selection in the Diamine package offers a nice variety without resorting to "clown" colors. I'm also pleased with the quality of the ink. It writes smoothly and seems to keep the nib in my pen clear from use to use.

The Oxblood and the Aurora Borealis are my favorites here. What beautiful colors. Wish we could choose which ones to add to the 6 pack. Great flow. No issues

This ink is leagues better than the cheap ink that I had been using. The other ink dried out in the pen, requiring moistening of the nib between writing sessions. This ink does not do that. It flows well and my pens feel much better to write with using this ink. However, these bottles are tall, and I'm not sure exactly how to get more ink out of them once the level drops lower than I can reach with my converter.

In my opinion, these inks offer excellent value for their price/ml, and deliver a very pleasant writing experience. The flow is smooth, and they glide effortlessly across the paper. I genuinely liked all the colors in the set, but my top 3 are: - Aurora Borealis - Amber (it seems to have a dual-tone effect) - Oxblood *UPDATE* With this color palette you can create incredible combinations: Oxblood + Imperial Purple = Wine Meadow + Amber = Olive Green Aurora Borealis + Oxford Blue = Deep Teal or Petrol Blue Amber + Oxblood (drops) = Light Terracotta Oxford Blue + Imperial Purple (drops) = Black Purple or Dark Purple Meadow + Oxblood = Copper or similar (depending on proportions) Meadow + Oxford Blue = Forest Green (depending on proportions) Let your creativity soar

This is the perfect solution if you want to try out different colors but don’t want to buy the full sized container until you know which one you’ll use more of. Diamine is a good quality ink. I’ve used every color in this except amber and they have all been great. They dry quick but flow smoothly. My favorite color is the Oxford Blue but I enjoy having the other colors to choose from when I get a new pen.

I haven't worked my way through all of these inks yet, but I've started off with Amber - and I was VERY pleasantly surprised by it! The unexpected shading made this ink so much more beautiful, and it worked like an absolute dream in my Lamy Safari in Fine. Smooth, legible, vibrant colours, no skipping, DEFINITELY not dry, these are absolutely incredible inks, and my poor wallet is going to be very unhappy with me as I continue to explore Diamine's beautiful world of inks!!
