I have used all manner of different cooling devices in my computing room over the years. I have considered getting dedicated aircon but have held off so far. During the hottest part of last summer, this made the room usable, where as previously due to the high spec computing equipment with a number of 32" display screens this cooler did the job. The drawer for water is ok, i did buy some better ice inserts as they do defrost quite quickly, I also have one of these in my place of work, there are 25 computers in that room, with very little air flow (sounds Victorian really doesn't i?) and it does a decent job there too. Great value for money.

Slightly noisy. Unable to empty water drawer without lifting the whole unit up. Slowest speed is still quite cool. Good to have a remote control

Hi received this this morning it is really good and it does cool the room we have been having 5 fans on in just sitting room got this and it’s the only one we need it’s so cool we are loving it we are using just tap water I highly recommend this product if I had a socket in bedroom I would have one in there but we have 2 socket only and we have a extension lead in one and it’s full we need 2 for our bed one for light but because the lead on this is short we can’t plug it in in the bedroom and our bedroom is not big enough for it and there is not much wire so cannot move it around
