Synthetic Silk Sageo Wrapping Cord for Japanese Samurai Sword Katana wakizashi Hanging Cord

This is an excellent quality sageo for tying around the saya in a presentation knot or for attaching the saya to your Obi. It is not designed to be used as Ito wrapping on a sword handle. I say this because some Ito is also used for sago. This is much too thick to use as Ito wrap.

Nice thick cord for the saya. Probably a little too long.Great value.

Not too bad. Not sure how long it will hold up. I will treat the suede with some type of protectant. It was easy to work with.

Was expecting the yellow to be a bit less bright, but it works just the same.

Looks great but kinks and snags easily.

This sageo is extra long (I had to cut mine down) and is made from synthetic material. The weave is correct for its purpose and is tight. It's a bargain of a price!
