AMAZING Experience- Fun For All Ages! 🐛🦋
This Butterfly Garden set has been one of the most exciting and magical things we’ve done at home. It comes with 5 tiny caterpillars and literally everything you need to watch them grow into beautiful butterflies 🐛➡️🦋. The whole process was super easy to follow and incredibly fun for both kids and adults. Everyday we watched the caterpillars grow, build their cocoons, and finally emerge as butterflies. It felt like our very own science adventure right in the living room. The habitat is reusable, and small, the kit even includes feeding tools, a guide and stickers to make it more engaging and fun. Perfect for families, classrooms or even as a unique gift idea. If you are looking for a fun educational and heartwarming experience. THIS IS IT!!!! 💜💜 It was great deal, get it while u can…..

So much fun!
I bought these for my granddaughter so we could do something over the end of winter and release in the spring. She absolutely loved this! It was fun to watch them grow, feed them, and release come warm weather. We needed to keep them a little extra longer because the cold weather came back, but they did great inside the house. As soon as we had a beautiful warm day we released them.

A learning experience
I literally just let my butterflies go after like a month of them morphing into butterflies. I loved this activity and they truly do provide you with everything you need. It was functional as they gave you all the tool to allow the caterpillars to grow into healthy butterflies and the instructions were extremely clear and detailed. It is an amazing experience for child development and learning and was simply a beautiful experience. The mesh they give you for the butterflies is not huge but that makes since bc you are supposed to let them go soon after they become butterflies but I couldnt bring myself to let them go and fed them the sugar water solution, fresh fruit, and even fresh squeezed fruit juice and they all survived up until today. So get it watch them grow, let them go right away or keep them, but it is an amazing experience.

Fun learning experience!!
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 years old grandson because one of his favorite books to read is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He loves to read this book with his parents and whenever I visit. I thought it would be fun and interesting for him to experience how a caterpillar grows into a butterfly. The kit came with 4-5 little caterpillars in a container, food, net, a little journal and instructions on how to take care of them. At first we thought that only 3 of the 5 survived, but it turned out that all 5 survived. Every week when I video chat with him he excitedly shows me his caterpillars and tells me what they're doing and what phase they're in. He's been patiently waiting to see them come out of their cocoon and turn into butterflies. I just love how excited he gets to show me his butterfly farm!

Pretty awesome, and we figured out what the bonus rubber band butterfly is
So far, none of the butterflies have died so let's call this a win. Also, I figured out what the extra bonus wooden butterfly with the rubber bands is: It turns out that the little cardboard butterfly you found—with a stick and rubber band—is actually a wind-up flying toy that Insect Lore includes as a bonus or promotional item with their kits 🦋 How It Works Inside the body, there's a rubber band mechanism attached to the wings. To activate it: Hold the bottom part of the butterfly steady (usually the “tail” or stick). Use your other hand to spin or wind the wings 40–50 times until the rubber band is tight. Release it with the head pointing upward and watch as the butterfly flutters and flies off unpredictably 🎁 Fun Purposes It’s meant as a delightful surprise toy—great for slipping into greeting cards or books so that when someone opens it, the butterfly suddenly flies out! It’s also just a fun little plaything to wind up and set free indoors or outdoors

Loved it
We really liked this. 2 year old LOVED it. He liked feeding them (might have said them too much). He liked watching them in their CooCoos. He LOVED releasing them. He keeps asking for more butterflies.

Underside of lid needs to be improved
It was really fun to watch the teeny caterpillars rapidly grow and become chrysalids. One issue - actually two, the kit only had 4 caterpillars when it should contain 5. The second issue was that almost all of them fell off of the lid, it seems really difficult for them to cling to it. I placed them on a paper towel on the bottom of the enclosure and 3 of the 4 successfully hatched. The 4th one seemed to struggle and was partially fused to the husk - possibly from being on the bottom of the enclosure instead of hanging. He didn’t make it. Still, we had 3 beautiful butterflies to release and that was rewarding. I’ve since bought a replacement kit of caterpillars from the same company and all five of the chrysalids fell from the lid. There’s a lining of air permeable fabric on the underside of the lid that in theory they can hang from but doesn’t seem to work. I currently have 5 chrysalids on the bottom of the enclosure and I’m hoping they all hatch successfully. The lid needs to be improved so the butterflies can emerge from the hanging position as they should.
