This is a great kit for absolute beginners like myself. My wee dog passed away this week and I wanted to make some candles myself to light for her, I've never made any before and am generally rubbish at anything and everything crafty. However, this kit is a great place to start. Everything on the list is included. The seller must have taken older reviews into account as thermometer came with battery included and the oils were all packed in their own wee bags to prevent any spillages. The instructions were clear enough for me to have a successful first attempt, however your own research into understanding how much of the scent to include might be beneficial as I found that a bit confusing. Once you've used this kit you could probably order more wax, oils, wick etc elsewhere cheaper but for someone who is looking to make candles for the first time or to purchase a comprehensive kit for candle making with storage box included I would definitely recommend this product.

Superb candle making kit - all you need to start is included - I'm a first timer and the instructions are lovely and clear, easy to follow. I'm looking forward to a future of candle making.

I have just started making candles at home and wanted to get a set which includes everything I might need. This came in nicely packaged (though the plastic container with all candle making attributes inside was cracked) and upon initial review I was impressed by everything included - a metal jar to melt wax in, a generous bag of wax, some wicks, wick holders, 2 tins and 2 molds plus a carving tool and a few bottles of essential oils. Once I started to make candles, I realised a lot could be better - for example, the instructions of how to measure the required wax don't seem to be accurate; the wooden wick holders aren't heavy enough and when pouring the wax in, it still moves the wick; and on that note, the glue dots provided to secure the wicks at the bottom of the candle tin somehow melted which makes me think that the heating and pouring instructions temperature-wise are not correct either; I also followed the instructions on how much essential oil to melted wax to use, but my candles don't really smell of the oil used. And one final point, it would have been convenient if a mixing jug was also included in this kit as cleaning wax off of containers used for cooking is a nightmare. Overall, a decent kit though so I've given it a 4*.

I ordered this as a start into candle making...after I ordered it, I read one or two bad reviews.... I know! Read them 1st....but I can honestly say, that the kit came perfectly packed and the main complaint with people was the instructions, but I should say, they are perfectly fine...they are basic, but I am guessing you should or could google what you need to know...so on a whole I think the kit is great as a starter 😉

This is a really simple kit, was easy to use. The thermometer arrived broken but I had another one so I wasn't worried about that. The quality of the wax wasn't great quality.

Easy to use and beginner friendly. Scents are nice but when candles are made cannot smell anything but wax hence oil was added at correct temperature and whole bottle was used as required according to instructions.

I hadn’t made candles for many years and although I still had some equipment, I bought this to ‘have a go’ again. I enjoyed it and in fact made several Christmas gifts with it. Worth the money

This was received with love and has been a pleasure to wirk with. Its lovely scent and easy to use product is bliss for passing sometime on your day off and having a lovely scent to come back to. Definitely recommend.

Als Anfänger Set perfekt. Habe mehrere kochsessions hinter mir, funktioniert alles bestens. Fertige Kerzen brennen auch gut ab, wenn der Docht gerade sitzt.

Instructions are in German. Adhesive stickers are missing. In all we ended up watching videos of other sellers to get an idea how to do it. Will not buy this one again.

Es la primera vez que hago velas y es súper fácil y rápido, el kit va muy completo incluso lleva un accesorio para tallar la vela, lo recomiendo mucho .

Offert, et c’était un cadeau parfait. La notice n’est qu’en allemand et c’est dommage. Mais résultats géniaux, les bougies réalisées ne sentent pas très fortes, les huiles fournies avec ne sont pas de bonnes qualités. Mais pour un début dans la création de bougies ce kit fait l’affaire.

The whole kit is great. It’s the same as on the pictures. The instructions are good but came in German language. The only thing bad was the tin can for the candle. You can see on the photo how it looks. And the glue dots are a little bit destroyed. But nevertheless I’m satisfied with this candle kit. Great for beginners.
