This is a good product but the internal tube is not very robust and needs to be handled carefully. Once I realised that you could slide back the outer cover and the insulation to facilitate fixing the inner tube to a spigot before moving the outer layers back to cover the whole inside it proved easy to use.

I recently picked up this flexible duct hose for my makeshift air conditioning in the garage, and honestly, I couldn't be happier. It's 8 inches wide, which is just right for what I needed. The whole thing stretches out to six meters, and it gives me enough length to reach the window without any awkward bends.I was a bit concerned about how flexible it would actually be, but it really bends and twists without any hassle. I've used it for both heat and cooling, so it’s nice to have something that works in different seasons without needing to change anything out. I did a little trial run last week when the temps shot up, and it handled the airflow like a champ. Didn't even feel any warm spots near the connections, which I was worried about.Another thing I appreciate is how lightweight it is. It was easy to install without any extra help, which is a huge plus when you're trying to wrangle things alone. Honestly, for the price, this was a simply solid choice. If you’re like me and need a reliable ventilation solution without breaking the bank, I'd say give this a shot. It’s been great so far and has definitely made my garage way more enjoyable.

The inner lining tears easily and difficult to connect with a 100mm outlet. It is good value though and will do the job fine. I used this to expand a PIV unit and service another room. self adhesive foil tape came to the rescue to seal the connection and fix a tear.

This hose seems decent quality, I wanted it for a hot air duct from my diesel heater. In use I found it off-gassed quite a bit filling the room with a plastic smell. I sent this back as it would not fulfil it's intended purpose. I was disappointed with this purchase.

I never thought I'd actually be writing a review for a piece of hose, but I decided to make an exception for this.I recently bought an air conditioner in prep for summer. The duct hose it was supplied with is made of the traditional off-white rigid PVC pipe. Those are fine and do the job, but if you're using aircon in a place where light can be disruptive (e.g. a bedroom), they're a bad choice because they allow light to permeate along their length.Additionally, they're usually not insulated, which means a lot of the heat being exhausted is going to escape back into the room before it even gets to the end of the hose. That reduces the effectiveness of the air conditioner and results in more power usage.I bought this hose to solve both those problems, and it does it very well. I can still feel a little bit of heat on the hose when the air con is operating (currently only testing it rather than running it for serious usage, due to it being winter), but it's significantly reduced over the regular hose. Also, the insulation on the inside and the choice to use a black outer layer means that light doesn't transfer along it like the stock hose.

I purchased this conduit to install on an air cleaner system I have for my workshop. I have a large shop and wanted to deliver clean air to the opposite side of the shop from where the air cleaner is mounted so the air in the shop would move toward the air cleaner. This conduit has performed quite well and while it wouldn't be hard to ruin it with a little abuse, it has help up very well under normal circumstances. I used y 3D printer to create brackets for it that I use to hang it from my ceiling - on bracket every couple of feet and the fully extended ducting stays straight without any sagging. This solution turned out to be significantly less expensive than any alternative. Super pleased with this purchase.

Definitely better than the non light proof. Good buy.
