Kabeldirekt are good cables for the price, and you can spend less or a LOT more - I especially like their 3.5 mm cables
Audio cables are probably the most misunderstood, misrepresented and hotly debated segment of the audio industry. You can pay $1 or $1000 for a 3 ft RCA cable or 3.5mm connector, and there is a supplier willing to provide you with a cable no matter what you want to pay.So how much do you NEED to pay? At what point do the diminishing returns kick in, and you only get small to no improvement in sound for the incremental dollars you spend? What is the sweet spot?Only you can answer that question…. Everyone’s needs are different, as are everyone’s ears. Plus, everyone’s gear is different, as everyone has a different budget and different level of audio gear.I personally own and try cables of different levels – I own these Kabeldirekt, also own Monoprice, Blue Jeans, Monster, and other brands. There is a level of cost I won’t cross for my own personal budget, in fact the Blue Jeans cables I own are the upper end for me, and sometimes still feel I paid too much. Again, everyone's needs are different, some spend a lot more on cables than Blue Jeans, some think it is more than you need. After buying and trying Blue Jeans, I started looking for another brand to try that was well made, but cheaper. I was setting up an HT for my sons’ and for my woodshop, and needed something that struck the price to value ratio nicely. I did not want to pay a fortune, but wanted something a little better than the lower end Monoprice cables. For my money, these Kabeldirekt have hit the spot nicely. I have purchased varying lengths of these cables, and different types. I have the RCA in 3, 6 and 10 feet, plus different configurations of these 3.5mm cables. I like a lot of things about these 3.5mm cables – they have an oxygen free copper core, they are shielded, and they are flexible. They also have reinforced, well-constructed ends and connectors, and don’t fit so tight that you have to pull them off with excessive force. They just look and feel like a good cable. The 3.5mm is my favorite Kabeldirekt cable - I have others from Ugreen, Monoprice and no-name brands and the Kabeldirekt cable is thickest, built the best of all. The connectors are tight and solid, and well made how they attach to the cable. I use these for many applications, including as an extension for my Senn HD600 and Beyer DT 800 Headphones, and to hook up my Senn RS185 wireless headphone base to my AVR.But the real test – how do they perform? Well, this is the subjective part of cable shopping, and where everyone has a different opinion. My opinion is these perform well for the money. My main theater room has a Denon 7200wa and a Parasound 2125 amp, with Klipsch RP center, mains and surrounds. My shop has a Denon 4806 with Definitive CLR 2002 center, and SM 450 mains and 350 surrounds. My sons’ HT has a Denon 3300W with Def Tech BP 8B, CLR 2002 center. In all cases, and all configurations, I am happy with the performance of these cables.. I am completely satisfied with the sound these deliver.Bottom line is my system(s) / HT setups are of the “mid-fi” category, and these cables perform well in my opinion for this level. You could spend less, and you could spend more the choice is yours. For me, the $10 range for 3.5mm cables is good enough, and these are a well made cable for that price.Recommended. Thanks for reading.

KasbelDirekt PRO Series 10-foot audio extension cable is of exceptional quality, and performs beautifully.
I recently purchased a 10-foot long KabelDirekt PRO series audio extension cable to replace an ancient cable that finally had stopped working and was beyond economical repair. I chose this particular KabelDirekt PRO series cable primarily because of its great price and the large number of 5-star ratings it received from Amazon customers.I am very pleased with the outstanding quality of my new KabelDirekt PRO series audio extension cable. It is exceptionally well constructed with a heavy-duty rubber outer sheath and heavy-duty 24K gold plated connectors. The male connector is designed to connect easily to any device’s 3.5mm audio port, even if the device enclosed in a case. The female connector holds the tip of my ear buds firmly in place. I use this cable with all of my devices, but primarily with the home theater system in my den. When I have my ear buds connected to any device by way of this cable, the stereophonic audio I hear is clear, bright, very well defined, and displays a proper balance of low, midrange, and high frequencies. I hear no hiss, hum, popping, or crackling from loose connections. What more can I ask from any audio cable…?Highly recommended.

Fine cord.
I use it to put distance between a water leak alarm and the sensor so I can hear it better when it goes off. It has, and it works great. I love water leak alarms.

Very good cable!
Update: So I also bought the Zeskit 4 foot cable and the 12 foot extension, Media Bridge 12foot cable, KabelDirekt 3foot cable and 10 foot extension. Here is how I place them: Zeskit > KabelDirekt > Mediabridge. As far as construction, all the brands are about equal with KabelDirekt being less prone to tangle because of the thicker rubber/plastic material.Zeskit and KabelDirect were about equal in audio signal production with Zeskit just a hair cleaner. The differences were very small. Zeskit had lower balanced resistance. The 4foot cable was 0.4ohms, 0.2ohms, 0.1 ohms from tip to ground. With the extension it was an even 1ohm for tip and center, and 0.3ohms for the ground. KabelDirekt for the 3foot cable was 0.6, 0.3, and 0.2 ohms for the ground. With the extension, the tip was 1.1, center 1.2, and ground was 0.4 ohms.Lastly, Mediabridge had some distortion in some songs and TV shows I watched. The 12foot cable was 1.3ohms, 1.2ohms, 0.8ohm ground. Now maybe the cable I received was a dud, and that thats too bad. Bass was loose and treble was grainy. It also made my left earcup of the headphone warm. Switching to KabelDirekt, there was an immediate "OK, thats much better." Then testing the Zeskit I was more, "OH yeah, thats it."For Zeskit being 4feet longer than MediaBridge and 3feet longer than KabelDirekt, resistance test fared better by being lower and balanced.I hope that was helpful. =)

I trust KabelDirekt products
I am writing this review on a headphone extension cable, but would also like to talk about their other products. I have many of their products, a lot of RCA cables and HDMI cables. Everything I have gotten has been exactly as described, and works. None of the connectors are loose or hard to insert. The company is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, and Germans are known as excellent engineers. Their products just work, and work well, but at a good price. The cables also look good, but are not an outrageous color.I have slot of old equipment now that I have retired. My hobby is my stereo/theater system. I had 8 receivers and 10 CD/DVD/SACD players up till last year, and down sizing some of them now. I'm not trying to say I'm rich, most of my equipment came from thrift stores. With all this equipment I change a lot of cables out. Never had a KabelDirekt product fail. I have lost RCA and subwoofer cables from other manufacturers, but not KabelDirekt. I trust their products to work, and their prices are not out of line with their quality. I have no connection to this company, it is just nice to know they provide a good product.
