Regiment Brush is a workhorse!
I have to say when I got these I was a little hesitant. Mostly because I figured I needed to spend an arm or a leg for a good set of brushes. This set so far (haven't had a chance to use the big brushes yet) has been amazing. 1. Regiment - this brush is a workhorse. The other day I found myself base coating one of my guys for my kill team, and I only used this brush. It kept a fine point the entire time. The brush holds paint really well. 2. Character - this brush i tend to use when i need a little more detail work that the regiment cant get to, but that i still need more paint on my brush than their detail brushes. 3. Detail - this i used for highlighting. very happy with the brush being able to hold a point and using the side of the brush for edges works like a charm. 4. Insane Detail - so far i only used this to paint in some space marine eyes. Did the job with no issue. 5. Psycho - I used this to highlight the eyes from my space marine, because why not... this brush is super small and short, but it works. 6. Monster - I used this to paint some scenery. This brush also could be used for a wash brush. I liked it and it too maintained its point throughout the job. The rest of the brushes I have yet to use, but as I do I will update this post. For the price and what you get these brushes are amazing. They all seem to hold a point really well, and hold a decent amount of paint in the bristles for applying paint. I do make sure to clean my brushes after I'm done with a painting session, and lay them flat to dry vs standing up. With proper care these brushes should last a good bit. I will say if you only want to buy one brush from this set I would say consider getting the Regiment. I can't recommend that brush enough. Something else of note, most of the brushes have a triangle shape to their handles, and I personally find this to be really comfortable. Normally after an hour of painting my hand will start to hurt, but with these that didn't seem to be a problem. Also like most Army Painter sets this set did come with their painting guide. I read through it, and it really good for new people. Wish i had that when I started. All in all 5 out of 5! Update: The small dry brush is meh. I prefer a brush with stiffer bristles for that. It could be used for something else. The regiment is still holding strong. Still a 5 star set in my mind.

Army Painter makes some really good brushes!
I’ve been a miniature painter since the early 90’s, back when Warhammer was still in its growth stage. I’ve used a lot of brushes with both natural hair and man made materials and I find that I keep coming back to the brushes made by The Army Painter. They are very good quality and seem to last for quite a long time. They are also affordable, especially I feel when compared to the brushes that are being put out by their competitors. Over the years I’ve purchased two of these sets. This set offers a great value and is a great starter set for someone who is just getting started painting miniatures. It has a good variety with brush that could be used for painting larger surfaces all the way down to brushes that are perfect for painting the eyes on tiny people with little guns! Very happy with these brushes and I think they are great for both beginners and pro painter alike.

Almost every brush you could need
Perfect kit. Maybe a little much for just starting out, but perfect for after you discover that you love it.

Fantastic brushes, very few issues.
Highly excited to have these brushes, though I do have a few very minor nit picks for these. I don't know if this is an isolated incident, but my box came extremely beaten/damaged. However, this isn't too bad, seeing as the brushes themselves were in mostly immaculate condition. The only real issue is the brushes themselves seem to have very, very fragile bristles. Just removing the plastic protector was enough to cause some very minor fraying of some of the larger brushes. Not enough to keep them from being used, but it is enough to make one worry about using them regularly. While I'm sure this can be repaired with just some cold water and straightening, it was a bit disheartening as I just bought them. Overall though, I think that they are some of the best brushes I've ever used, and they come highly recommended for anyone looking for affordable expert quality brushes!

Love them.
I am absolutely thrilled with The Army Painter Paint Brush Set! The variety of sizes in this set is perfect for tackling all types of miniature painting. From base coats to fine details, these brushes cover it all. I was impressed by the precision I could achieve with the smallest brush. It makes the small details like faces actually doable. The build quality is fantastic as well. These brushes feel sturdy and well-made. I'm still new to the miniature painting hobby, so I'm no expert when it comes to brushes, but I was impressed with these, and think I'll be using them for a long time.

Excellent brushes for miniatures painting
Fantastic brushes. Contains a variety of high quality brushes that provide great options for brush-on priming, main coating, and fine detail work. Very well worth the investment.

Great for minis
These brushes are a perfect starter kit that gives you enough variety to find a brush that fits your painting style. They last long without the tips of the brushes bending, and fits comfortably in your hand. I saw other reviews of people saying after a painting session the brushes were damaged, but I did not have this experience and also take extra precaution to make my brushes last, as everyone should even with $100 brushes.

I've bought this set before and it was excellent. 2nd time buying and the brushes are breaking and fraying their tips after a week of painting just a few models. Quality is inconsistent and I won't be buying again.
