There's a small market out there for people who just want a simple pass through DAC/ADC. This does the trick. I tried some of the best DACs out there (most recently Sound BlasterX G6) and found for sidetone at least, there was an echo. But not with this little guy. It passes the audio back and forth with no lag at all.The best part is it works with other headsets as well. Now, I can't speak for every headset, but I use an Audio Technica ATH G1 and it works very well. When I use it on my laptop, it comes up with "Pro X" or some-such. It doesn't affect the headset in any negative way.Anyway, with many folks still working virtually, this turns your gaming headset into an excellent work headset!Work hard/Play hard!

For my gaming laptop, I needed the USB adapter to identify my mic and headset more formally. Thai really help with my wired connection and had no problems!

Arrived as advertised. A little pricey.
