Beautiful Paper Flowers: Elegant - and Easy to Make - Blossoms Paperback – April 1, 2014

I purchased several copies of an earlier edition of this book and kit, and I loved it. It reminds me of my childhood making May Baskets with my Gram. I really enjoyed having it available to give as a gift, particularly to moms and their daughters, and to people I know who don't think they can't do crafts. Well, with this kit, they find out that they actually can. People who've made the flowers have said what a fun "rainy day" project it is.This version is even more elegant and tasteful. I've "restocked" so I will have something I know is lovely and well-made to pass on. the packaging is so pretty that I won't even gift wrap it. There aren't that many things you can buy and give for such a great price. Next, I'd like to see one that's more oriented toward boys -- not that boys can't or don't love flowers.

This is a lovely small book with great step by step instructions and wonderful photographs to help you follow along. It is packaged beautifully and gives you a great start on learning this fun craft. The only downside is that the paper included is not crepe paper and not ideal for flower making (nice for card making though). Crepe paper is easy to find and you are going to need lots more of all the supplies anyway once you get addicted to creating your own paper garden. Sweet gift for a crafty friend.

You can make beautiful paper flowers and it is easy. I put mine in my living room and they look beautiful.

Very disappointed. The instructions are clear enough, but first and foremost the paper is NOT actual crepe paper. Seems somewhat pointless to buy a kit that doesn't have the same materials as pictured in the book and on the packaging. It defeats the purpose of buying a kit if the materials included are not what is needed to construct the projects that are illustrated.

Just received and LOVE it. The box is lovely and the paper beautiful. Would like to have more of the paper. The price is also reasonable. Nothing negative from my standpoint. Also delivery service was first rate. By the way I am difficult to please.

Skimpy is how I would describe this kit. It is beautifully boxed and the photos in the very thin book are nice. The included paper is NOT crepe paper at all, but rather some cheap type of scrapbook paper and so the flowers don't turn out like the photos at all and are more difficult to form. The wire stems are nice but the included stamens will barely do one flower.All in all, this would make a nice gift to someone wanting to dabble at paper flower making as an introduction to see if they enjoy it. For anyone else I recommend getting a different book and making a trip to your local craft store for supplies. For anyone serious about making flowers this set is sure to disappoint.

This is a great kit! It includes instructions, paper, floral tape, and wire stems. The instructions aren't too hard to follow, and it makes beautiful flowers, just like it says. I docked one star because the paper colors are all really bright, so I had to find some more pastel shades elsewhere. Also, the paper included is not crepe paper, but you can use crepe paper if you want. I bought a second kit because it was cheaper than refreshing the materials a la carte.

Great. More than I expected. Thought it was just a book but it's a kit as well. Excellent. Recommend.
