TaylorMade Men's Rocketballz Stage 2 Fairway Wood

This is probably a really great club, but I'm such a bad golfer, I may never know just how good it is. However, I played with it yesterday and it certainly surprised me on a couple of occasions. I duffed my tee shot on a par 4 and left myself 230 to an elevated green with the pin back. It would have been 'unreachable' with my old 3-wood, but, I ended up pin-high on the right fringe, chipped it close and won the hole with a par.Later, I used it off the tee on a 367-yard par 4 with a dog-leg left. You risk hitting it through the fairway with a driver so I hit this club. I cut the corner with a nice draw (not on purpose, but still . . .) and was only about 50 yards out. Cutting the corner for sure knocked some yardage off, but I still got about 270 out of it off the tee. I'm not a 'big' hitter, so I was pretty happy about that. I ended up wasting the great tee shot with a bogey, but it was still one to remember.This club is definitely staying in the bag.

Good 3-wood for a good price. I'm a fan of the RocketballZ Stage 2 Driver and also enjoy the addition of the 3-wood to the golf bag. Have yet to hit it well off the deck, but I mainly use it for fairway shots on Par 5's. It performs well and provides a straight ball into the green with a good swing. Not great out of the rough; a hybrid may be a better option from this lie.

My club arrived the next day. Talk about amazing service!The balance on this club is superb. The head is dense and provides great power in even the roughest terrain.I have taken to using this 3 wood in place of my driver as I have greater control. Makes me think I need to try TaylorMade's driver, if I could only convince the Mrs...I'm trying to think of a negative about this club, but I just can't find any faults. It's a great product - best value for the dollar, IMHO.I really like it, and if mine gets stolen, lost, or broken, I can tell you that I will be buying this club again.

no instructions or the tool to change settings. Though I don't know if it is supposed to come with it or buy.

Easy to hit off fairway, plenty of distance. I haven't had a 3 wood for a while and I have fallen in love again. I play 5-7 times a year I'm a 22 handicap (not official). My club head speed is 128 mph if I'm trying too, but I normally swing at 120 mph. The x-stiff is a nice fit for me and the white club head is easy to get used too. Worth the money.

Bought a 5 wood 19* . Weekend golfer. Having trouble with my Adams 3,4,5 hybrids. Put my old Adams 'insight' 3 wood back in the bag. Hit it pretty good, 170-180 but had to hit it accurate as the face is small. Thought I would try a 5 wood in the new RBZ Stage 2 (face is bigger than my 'insight' 3 wood). Hit it 10 times on the range with 6 out of ten straight hits. Launched high. Distance seemed good. Took to the course and hit it very well. The off hits still went straight, but not as long. The good hits rolled to 190-200. Longer than my 3 wood. Now I am going to buy the RBZ stage2 3 wood. Hoping for a 215-230 club. Maybe its that open rib on the bottom, but the ball does fly off this face. Love it! We'll see how it goes this year. Look out next year, maybe a RBZ stage2 driver!! (at a discount, of course. ha!)

The club is great. It arrived on time as promised. The only reason it wasn't a 5 Starr rating was due to the head cover. At the time of purchase, it indicated that the club came with a head cover. However, when it arrived it was not included. After contacting the seller, they finally agreed to send the head cover. It arrived about a week later, but they sent a hybrid cover instead of 3 wood. The fit is a little tight, but still works.
