Oalka Women's Short Yoga Side Pockets High Waist Workout Running Shorts

I love these shorts. They fit well and are very comfortable. I have purchased them more than once over time. They do not roll down over my tummy and are of great quality. The one thing I wish they had them in a little shorter inseam. I'm only 4'11" and these come down just past my knees when I'm standing, but are very comfortable when I'm sitting because they don't ride up too high on my thighs. 8-21-25 Update: I hadn't worn these yet before I did this review, so I didn't realize they had changed them since 2022. They are not as heavily made, have no back pocket which doesn't really bother me, BUT they do have a tendency to roll down in the front now because the material is not as thick. I'm guessing they are trying to save a little money by using less material, rather than raising the price too much. Still like them for the most part.

Great exercise shorts! Comfortable stretchy fabric that is dense but not tight. I got extra large so they are roomy but not saggy. I have machine washed and line dried twice, despite the directions recommending hand washing. They still look and feel good as new.

Why spend $50-100 on a name brand when these get the job done! Wide pockets on both sides. Comfortable, don’t ride up, this is my 3rd pair. After 3 years of frequent use, my first pair’s stitching has worn down, but no holes! Material is pretty thick, does not look cheap or too thin. Decently stretchy, seem “true to size” with a bit of compression to suck you in. Great for running and biking.

First impression of these shorts was AMAZING! Super soft fabric, comfortable but tight enough it holds you in and doesn't slide around while running/hiking. I love the pockets and the LENGTH. It is super hard to find good shorts that are longer and these are awesome for length. However, they don't get 5 stars because my only complaint is that before even washing these one time, literally on my first day wearing them, they balled up on the tops of my thighs. I did hike that day, but it wasn't anything strenuous, and I didn't fall or scrape my leg on anything. So I am not sure why that happened. s I was relly disappointed in that. My brand new shorts suddenly looked very worn and I hadn't even worn them a full day. I'm 5'7", 158/160 lbs and I felt the Medium was perfect. I wouldn't have wanted to go any tighter/smaller, and for a less compression feel you could probably go a size larger. Anyway, loved these except for the immediate balling of the fabric. Otherwise, great shorts.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought 2 pair of these shorts. I did so because of the styling, I like the side pockets and color availablility. Right height: I was looking for 8-9 in lengths so these were appropriate. I also wanted light grey & bright blue. They had both so I made the purchase. Look: They fit well. A bit roomier than a normal medium but still better than being too tight. Comfortable and washed well. We’ll see how they wear. If they do well, I’ll make further purchases.

Love these shorts! Comfortable, nice fabric. Love the color too, I ordered the Easy Charcoal. Fit true to size, I ordered XL, I'm 5"4 157. Length is also perfect for me. I am considering another pair in a different color.

So unfortunately these shorts didn’t end up working out for me (no pun intended). I was expecting a soft to touch finish compression workout short. But these are that somewhat cheap slippery polyester material feel that I think would just trap heat. With that said I did not work out in them, but basing this off of other leggings I own of this type material. Perhaps some people like that feel. The compression was good, with no constricting anywhere which was nice. However, the gusset was a bit odd it felt and it made it a bit uncomfortable in the crotch for me. The bottom of the shorts were a bit loose (due to me being short) and they irritated me while walking. I am only 4’11” so if you’re normal sized or tall they will work fine for length. They reached to slightly above my kneecap. Would’ve been a nicer look if they were 1-2” shorter but once again I realize I am an anomaly in being vertically challenged. The fit size wise was good though, as I chose the medium and it fit me pretty well hip/butt/leg wise. I’m around 130 lbs. I intentionally bought a size larger than I normally wear because I have a super soft tummy and "shelf" because of a c-section scar and stretch marks. I think I could get the pouch to go away with some intense workout.... Anyways. The fit was good. I did hope that they would be a bit tighter in the legs, but maybe if I had ordered the size I normally would have. I bought a large and I l really like the way it feels around my tummy. Anything I've been buying lately(because my depression has me eating my feelings, I've out on a tiny bit extra) has been giving me a weird muffin top and gives me a roll or 2, in the hips and waist. These do, but for understandable reasons. Now if I had bought a medium, it would have tighter up top and I would not have liked that. I am 5'2-'3 and about 130#'s. The legs still fit great if I pull them up where they sit properly for a bit. They are soft and stretchy. The fabric is nice. Has 2 pockets, one on each side and I can fit my phone in them. No 3rd pocket. The phone does not pull down the shorts, maybe if it stayed there for some time and walked/run/bike a lot. But otherwise, everything stays where it should. Hope any of this helps.

I bought the large because I am in between M/Lsizes now...having put on weight sitting too long due to the covid lol...it was a just nice fit and I used it on a jog today. Great material. Have ordered 3 more pairs in M for a snuggier fit. Material is thick and can still wick sweat. Pockets for phone and keys makes wearing a running belt obsolete! Definitely buy again.

These are great, really comfortable material with decent thickness. I’m 173cm and ~67kg, the M fits well with a bit of room to move. They also arrived more quickly than I expected!

The waist falls down which I found distracting .
