SITKA Women's Hunting Hooded Windstopper Insulated Elevated II Fanatic Jacket

I am 5'7", 135 pounds and I ordered this in the extra large because Sitka runs small and I wanted to be able to layer underneath. It is big, and I look like a furry bear but it keeps me so warm and it is insanely quiet for hunting. I have the coveralls, Ambiant jacket, and the furry neck gaiter and I am completely warm in sub 20 degree weather.

Super warm have worn in 10° weather and been good to go, it’s a bit big but rather that way than small, great quality and value your money. The zipper does zip diagonal, which is a little hard if you wanna sit with it open but for me most important to be warm and dry.

Everything about this jacket is amazing. Great for winter season. So quite and easy to move in. A little bulky but was not enough to limit mobility. The external is similar to Sherpa, but it did not collect outside environment on it like twigs. There was not one time I found myself cold. This jacket has more pockets than you’ll ever need. Best hunting jacket I’ve ever owned.

The jacket is warm, quiet and comfortable. I wish they had the next size up. I hate the cross body zip up front. The pockets are kind of small and inconvenient. On my Sitka pants with the jacket, I already had the main zipper break. For the price, I expect better quality control and I don't necessarily have the time right now to fix or get another pair. I've had other gear where the zippers held up for years.

This camo coat will keep you warm. The wind doesn’t seem to penetrate through, and even when temps drop your body temp won’t.

5'2 127 lbs size small. I hunted with this Jacket in the morning and evenings in the mountains for elk this season. 32 degrees temperature weather. I wear a light under layer beneath it and works great. Lots of pockets. Hoodie was a bit tight and rips off easily which can be a pro and con. Very cleverly designed for good ventilation for the pits and zippers to cool down. Especially, mobility for a right hand shooter. They make sure the elbows and shoulders have easy mobility when drawing back. Very quiet jacket. I harvested a 5x5 bull this year with this jacket. Con: Get dirty easily catches pine needles, fur, and burs easily to the fabric, is very bulky to carry around Pros: Quiet, comfy, warm, pockets, mobility.

Beware: VERY NOISY. Not silent at all. For the whitetail hunter this is detrimental.
