Solid quality

This is what I received. They look like they are high quality parts, but they are far shorter than the listing photos show. Though they do measure what they say they measure, which is 1.5", except that measurement includes the threads.

All the nipples would only screw in like one or two turns by hand, much less than other 1/4" NPT fittings, and the one I installed had a bad air leak!

In the Pictures it shows the smooth part to be about 1 1/2 inches which is what i was looking for and how in the past i have bought my brass pieces so i know how far i am Extending my couplers/fittings on what i am making. The smooth part on the ones i received were 7/16" far smaller then what is pictured, but the overall length was 1 1/2" including the threads (should have been closer or at 2 1/2" total length -1/2" per threaded side at least. So if you are looking for a True 1 1/2" pipe Extender you will have to look else where, I am going to return these and find something that is actually a 1 1/2" extender .

I did find machining residue on the threads but nothing that cannot be blown away with air

Was exactly what I wanted. Am building an air tank for an on board air system.
