I got these pipet tips to use at my home. I ordered them by looking at the thumbnail photo. It shows a box of tips, which was what I was looking for. When they arrived in this huge box I was a bit surprised. I got a case of them which has 10 boxes in it. I'm not complaining at all. The tips are made well & are exactly what I wanted. I was just overjoyed to see so many boxes neatly packed in the shipping box. All of the tips are sitting upright in their own hole with 100 holes in a grid pattern. It was a very professional way to make sure the tips didn't touch each other & remained sterile during shipping & even during use. I've got no complaints. I give them 5 stars.

Like the other reviewers here, I was really surprised to receive a thousand tips based on the price. These are extremely high quality. They come in a branded box, not some no-name Chinese junk. sterile and very nicely packaged. They dispense the exact correct volume perfectly and hold no liquid in reserve. I'm really thrilled with these and this is now my default go-to for $53 per thousand tips at the time of the order. This is pretty unbeatable. I could see this becoming easily the dominant brand if they can keep this up. Five-stars fantastic and well-executed.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I got these, but I didn't realize there were 1000 tips here. The price was just too good. But that's what you get. There are 10 cases with each case having 100 tips. These feel like the good ones and the cases are so much nicer than other places where you can get them for a great price like this where they just stuff 1000 of them in a ziplock bag. I have a bunch of tips like that and they are no fun to use.

The media could not be loaded.  I have spent a large portion of my twenties pipetting liquids into small tubes, gels, petri dishes, etc. At the same time I have worked on genomics, proteomics, and RNA/protein interactions, cell culture and various other molecular biological techniques. So I would say I have a feel for a decent p1000 pipet tip. Well, this does the job. This is a typical box of tips, sealed with a plastic film to protect the cleanliness of the tip. I didn't check the DNase or RNase free nature of the tip, but I did a little experiment where I took three different pipettes and aliquoted 1000 uL into a beaker that I weighed. When tapping onto the box to secure the tip onto the pipette the box felt solid. The tips feel sturdy and they appeared to be accurate. The Extragene tips drew the liquid (just water) up nice and clean and all of the liquid was able to be expelled after the second stop of the plunger. My 1.0 mL of water ended up weighing 1.0g..which is good.Why buy these instead of the overpriced tips from the sales rep that barges into your lab meetings to tell you about his monthly promotions? Maybe you don't like your sales rep because you know they make more money than you and all they do is sell you plastic you need for your experiments. Maybe you need them in a hurry and you don't want to submit a purchase order and deal with the bureaucracy. Maybe you are trying to clone your dog and you need some extra sterile tips you can use to culture her fibroblasts. Perhaps you lost funding and you are working on a project from home and you just want something you know will work fine for the job. For whatever reason you are looking on Amazon for p1000 pipette tips, these are probably the ones you are looking for.

Poor quality control: Tip orifice varies wildly between no hole at all, a hole so small it dispenses sideways, and working normally. Spend a little more if you use tips in a production environment.
