Absolute trash, I'd give it half a star if available don't waste your money. The gears for the hand crank didn't mesh properly and clicked, the bearings were whiny and produced very little airflow.

Easy to use and effective in stimulating the early ignition of charcoal. My only complaint it that the turning handle comes out too easily and therefore is likely to get lost. I recommend going it in.

I’ve owned many of these over the years and yes, they break frequently, but this is the first one that arrived with the gearing, already partly stripped. As soon as I took it out of the package, I could feel the crank slipping when I used it. Yes it worked, but I doubt it would’ve worked for more than a week. It just felt poorly made or assembled. I would recommend getting one from a different manufacturer.

It worked okay enough at first. After 2 and a half days of use( I'm talking about 5hours a day for 2 days and maybe an hour or 2 the third day) it began making noise. The kind that makes you think ah crap something broke or is about to. A day later it stopped working. Great of you need one project done. Worthless for normal use. Judge accordingly.

This is a great little tool for camping. Saves blowing on the fire and it is small. I had one and one of the E clips popped off and I had to replace it. But it is such a great thing that I bought 2 more!! One for my travel trailer and one for my cabin
