Love them
I've been buying Havianas for years. I love how they feel, how light they are. You think they're cheapy rubber flip-flops, but they are pretty good rubber, so there's no irritation inbetween your toes. As somebody who has sandal tan year-round, I will say that these are terrible on wet surfaces, esp concrete. Also, they won't last as long as rainbows or those type of flip-flops. Also, the main reason I have to buy new ones is because the strap thing that has a plug at the bottom always seems to come out after a while. Again, I would say that I tend to wear flipflops all the time. I mean not literally all the time, but when I have footwear on, 90% of the time it's flipflops, so maybe I put more wear and tear than a man with a "real job" might. Also, I'm 220, so maybe a guy who "hasn't let himself go" wouldn't wear them down as much.

Truly great flip flops!
GREAT flip flops, or "thongs" as I grew up calling them. My kid winces when I call flip flops "thongs" so I try to call them flip flops. THESE ARE GREAT! Really. I wear these a LOT. These are long-lasting, comfortable, wide and long enough for my huge feet. You can find a lot of crappy flip flops, so finding a GREAT pair like these is a big deal -- order replacement pairs now for future use!

Great flippers
Thick enough sole without being too much weight. These are perfect year round flip-flops. I've purchased Havaianas for several years now. With previous purchases models I've had issues with the sole being too thin to be used while hiking or too thick which weighed them down making the sole too rigid. This model seems to have found the balance between the two extremes.

Disgusting. This is the second pair of Havaianas I ...
Disgusting. This is the second pair of Havaianas I ordered from Amazon. The earlier pair, which I bought a few months ago, broke within 6 weeks of sporadic use. This pair arrived today covered in a disgusting white film all over them. Seems like its either mold or some type of greasing agent. Spent an hour trying to clean them up to no avail. I base purchases on reviews and it was a shame to see something so highly rated be of such bad quality. See pics for what I mean.

Poor construction
I have heard great things about Havaianas, so I was eager to buy them as a gift for a friend. Unfortunately, both pairs I ordered looked horrible. I got the Brazil logo ones and the flag is glued on and just looks bad, not straight and glue all over the logo, the flag and the upper portion of the flip flop. I sent both back and ordered a pair of QuickSilver. Hopefully they look better. Im sure the shoes are good...Just lazy construction.

Comfy, durable, a little too floppy
I've bought many pairs of flip flops over the past few years. I live in Santa Monica and run my business from home - flip flops are worn daily, and travel with me every where. I had a pair of Reef's, rubber/EVA, lasted two years, very comfortable, not so stylish, ruined them climbing lava rocks. Replaced them with more upmarket leather Reef's, horrible - the leather continually was too smooth, I'd sand them with sandpaper, smooth again in days, garbage after 4 months. Bought these Havaianas based on a recommendation from a friend, immediately like the comfort, very soft and cushy. The rubber strap isn't too bad. Sometimes they're great for a mile of walking, some days, when it's more humid, I get the occasional blister. I figure that's normal for flip flops. My one complaint is when you jog/move fast - they don't like it. Whatever material Havaianas uses for the sole, it's too floppy for active movement. They "flop" too much, and the toe bows under - easy to trip. I wear a 13, so the extra length and weight may be the problem, may not happen with a smaller size. Durability so far is great, handled lots of abuse, walked many miles, and barely any deformation - I weigh 240 lbs so this is quite the feat! feat, hehe... I would recommend these, especially for more casual use.

The fit is a bit larger than expected but I love these sandals.
They are extremely durable, look great and are comfortable. No complaints.

Beach bum for life...
I love these flip flops, I'm a big fan. The rubber they use is so soft and has a unique feel unlike any other I've tried. I've worn all sorts of different brands, HIC ( Hawaiian Island Creations), Scotts, Crocs…..(yes its true). These are by far my favorites, understated, comfortable inexpensive and they last a long time.

I'm brazilian and I can judge this properly: this flip flop is a real Havaianas, very good!

A great value for the price. They’re built a bit narrower than other brands, so if you have wide feet they may not be ideal. Otherwise they seem well crafted, sturdy and durable. Usually flip flops break when the stoppers on the underside give out. I would say, to ensure the longest life, use on flat indoor surfaces only. Ideal for gym locker rooms.

Best sandals on the market for cost and utility. When I wear these out, I’ll get the exact same ones like I did this time...
